Marketing Content Specialist
The Marketing Content Specialist will be responsible for creating content that supports integrated marketing campaigns and programs across various channels. This person will plan, write, edit and promote B2B content that supports Force Management’s product and service offerings and market positioning.
This Marketing team member will spend time creating and publishing digital sales and B2B marketing content including website content, social media posts, PPC copy, blogs, webinars, articles, presentations, thought leadership and other marketing collateral.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and publish digital content to support multiple marketing programs
- Provide sales enablement content to support Force Management’s sales team and business development efforts
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and thought leaders to identify and publish content for multiple service offerings
- Curate and compile content ideas for all media channels
- Repurpose and leverage existing content to serve multiple platforms and channels
- Provide custom messages for multiple buying personas and account-based marketing programs
- Manage and monitor Force Management’s corporate social media accounts
- Write and continually refresh content on Force Management website
- Create and manage marketing editorial calendar and dynamic content library
- Assist in compiling Force Management success stories and proof points
- Manage content and campaigns within an automated marketing platform (Hubspot)
- Track performance of content assets using Hubspot and Google Search Console
- Assist in the development and creation of long-form content (white papers, eBooks) to support campaigns
Requirements:
The Marketing Content Specialist must be creative, a clear and concise communicator, have excellent attention to detail and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Manage the creation and distribution of digital and non-digital marketing content
- Tell stories through business writing that convey the value of complex business services
- Execute all aspects of turnkey content creation, from concept to published work
- Understand and apply appropriate content creation techniques within multiple digital platforms
- Translate complex B2B information into consumable, client-centric content
- Interface with internal teams to build content work plans that support various business initiatives
- Manage multiple writing projects and meet content delivery deadlines
- Experience with SEO writing best practices for organic search
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 2 to 5 years of relevant post-undergrad working experience
- Extremely strong written & oral communication skills
- Relevant B2B content writing experience
- Experience using digital platforms to market a brand or organization
- Experience with marketing automation software
- Proficient in Microsoft tools: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA in Journalism, Communications, Writing, or Marketing
- Proficient with social media and marketing automation software platforms
- A quick learner with the ability to handle a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- An excellent writer with the ability to publish content quickly
- A great collaborator with both internal teams and outside partners and customers
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
