Marketing Communications Specialist
About the job
The Red Hat Global Services Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join us. In this role, you will provide solid program and general marketing skills to effectively launch and maximize initial awareness around the partner services offerings and enablement like new learning content, marketing materials, and announcements. This is a global role, where you will work with our regional marketing counterparts to amplify messages in-geo as well as collaborate with our partner marketing stakeholders. You will also work closely with the partner operations team to curate targeted partner communications through the training portal. We will need you to have solid writing and communications skills and go-to-market experience. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do
- Provide marketing and communications support for external enablement around new course releases, updates, and retirements
- Draft monthly newsletter content and communications
- Curate digital marketing kits
- Manage and track activities while providing status updates
- Create and manage social media content in collaboration with the corporate social media team
- Draft monthly social media posts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
- Create and deliver paid digital campaigns
- Act as the point of contact between the services marketing team and the global partner communications office
- Collaborate with the partner training portal team on new feature launches, updates to messaging, graphic creation, etc.
- Own the publication and maintenance of enablement documents in the partner resource library such as FAQs, infographics, banners, etc.
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a marketing and communications role
- Basic understanding of project management fundamentals
- Basic experience with organizing and managing content coming in from different sources
- Experience with Google Drive components (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and standard productivity tools
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Basic experience in Adobe Creative suite (InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus
