Bullhorn is a large, profitable, and fast-growing SaaS company based in downtown Boston. We are seeking a Media Relations Specialist who can increase our media coverage and brand awareness with a diverse set of stakeholders, including media, analysts, prospects, customers, and potential internal new hires. Working as an integral part of the Global Content and Communications organization within Marketing, the Media Relations Specialist will be responsible for pitching and engaging with media, analysts, and key stakeholder groups (including prospects and customers) across Bullhorn’s geographies and lines of business. This person will work closely with teams across the business to help increase brand awareness and identify opportunities to highlight our internal culture, executive presence, and product innovation. The ideal candidate is passionate about media relations, and is a creative and strategic thinker with excellent and prolific writing skills who can work both independently and collaboratively to connect PR processes to business outcomes.
The Media Relations Specialist's typical day might include:
Pitching reporters and placing stories that improve Bullhorn brand awareness with considered sets of stakeholders
Writing press releases, pitches, bylines, case studies, industry research, blog posts, and other branded content.
Working closely with the content marketing team on social media presence and brand narrative
Working with customer marketing to manage Bullhorn’s advocacy programs and maintaining an active customer community.
Developing creative ways to engage with Bullhorn’s customers and turn them into raving fans.
Identifying key customers and executives who can act as a marketing channel through case studies, customer stories, testimonials, speaking opportunities, etc.
