About the job
The Red Hat Events team is looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you'll work in an environment that values collaboration, innovation, and diverse perspectives. You will be parto of our Brand Experience team which supports the Global Webinar Strategy and a new program initiative, Red Hat TV. You will support the successful delivery of Red Hat's webinar program, make data-driven decisions, and help expand and deliver new programs to help create awareness for the Red Hat brand among industry influencers and decision makers through impactful experiences. As a Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will use your creativity and understanding of our technical audience to create and manage unique, inspiring online event experiences. You should have an interest in webinar and online event delivery, events marketing, data and analytics, digital advertising, and general technology as this role requires you to amplify Red Hat's message and brand awareness. You'll need to have a record of planning and delivering webinars or other marketing activities, and should have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. You should have a desire to grow and evolve Red Hat's global event strategy, including the attendee experience and return on investment (ROI). You can be remote-based but you have to be comfortable working in various time zones.
What you will do

  • Coordinate webinar hosting for global marketing teams with our online event vendors like Intrado and On24, including managing the day-to-day support of all online events on the annual calendar and communicating with stakeholders on deliverables
  • Serve as an expert and a primary point of contact for end-to-end webinar workflow process facilitating delivery between stakeholders and vendor project managers
  • Collaborate with the extended Brand Experience team to create pre-event promotions, post-webinar follow-ups, and nurtures
  • Serve as a main point of contact for primary webinar users and facilitate regular "office hours" meetings
  • Monitor email promotion performance for webinars using marketing automation tools
  • Support the Marketing Communications Specialist with the deployment and management of Red Hat TV
  • Collaborate with Red Hat speakers on required deliverables for webinars and Red Hat TV
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting on lead management and Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Eloqua tracking for all global online events and Red Hat TV
  • Manage content being hosted in the platform that supports Red Hat TV
  • Manage event cadence and scheduling for Red Hat TV and webinars


What you will bring

  • 2+ years experience in webinar support, marketing, or project management
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Great project management skills and ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with marketing campaign tactics
  • Motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and build solid relationships
  • Previous experience working with vendors and managing vendor relationships
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or similar tools
  • Willingness to travel, following Red Hat's COVID-19 guidelines, and work nights and weekends occasionally to support in-person or virtual events
