Prologis is seeking a proactive Marketing & Communications Specialist for our Baltimore/DC market. In this dynamic role, you will work directly with the Regional Leasing and Marketing Manager and the VP, Market Officer to develop marketing programs and set strategies. Additionally, you will work with the Americas and global marketing team to communicate and effectively position initiatives and announcements both internally and externally.

Your main focus will be managing and executing the external and internal marketing and communications activities. As the ideal candidate, you know how to keep multiple projects moving forward simultaneously. You know how to cooperate within a multi-market team and work independently and proactively on specific projects.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Develop short-term and long-term marketing plans for the Baltimore/DC market in collaboration with senior-level leaders
  • Run digital marketing processes i.e. content creation and development for Digital Property Marketing, execute social media campaigns, and other tools working with stakeholders from across the business
  • Marketing systems administration – web, data, content, and asset management
  • Contribute to delivering a range of diverse property marketing activities such as product positioning, property events, and product campaigns
  • Design of marketing materials in graphic programs (e.g. emailers, online banners, headers, invitations, creative proposals)
  • Working proactively with the Corporate Communications team and the Market to develop messaging, stories, and thought pieces to further promote Prologis
  • Create Customer Experience marketing including customer events, gifts, and targeted marketing plans
  • Support internal communication initiatives from planning to implementation
  • Overall administration of the department including invoices approvals and business expenses
  • Provide additional ad-hoc project support as needed

     

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of marketing and communications experience in a coordinating or project management role
  • Proficiency with and knowledge of a wide range of marketing & communications activities with a focus on digital marketing tools as well as experience with different corporate programs
  • Multitask and project management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Skilled with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign)
