Overview:

This entry-level Marketing Automation Specialist position is a technical marketing role that requires an analytical and data manipulation skillset, with an ability to process cause-and-effect scenarios. This individual contributor will be trained to build marketing automation programs in Marketo, track marketing effectiveness through the creation of Salesforce campaigns, and provide global Marketo support to our regional marketing teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build programs in our marketing automation platform, Marketo
  • Report results of marketing programs and campaigns
  • Establish and maintain marketing technology integrations for optimal lead flow, campaign tracking, and measurement of results
  • Troubleshoot and fix data anomalies and technology integrations
  • Partner with regional teams to expand and localize global marketing automation campaigns
  • Consolidate inputs from cross-functional teams to strategize, create a plan of action, and launch the campaign/program
  • Develop data standardization programs and processes that optimize record information passed throughout the lead funnel
  • Create training and documentation that enables Marketo builders to automate processes, drive campaign effectiveness, and accelerate programs in market
  • Advocate and grow Marketo expertise and best practices across the organization


Requirements:

  • Although this is an entry-level position, real world experience is highly valued.
  • B2B marketing, analytics, demand generation, IT, website, digital, finance, accounting, teaching/education, and/or marketing operations experience a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with marketing automation platforms, preferably Marketo
  • Strong with systems, data analysis and logical sequencing
  • Proven track record of managing successful projects from ideation to results
  • Passionate about marketing best practices and technology
  • Ability to serve as a collaborative, global teammate across multiple functions, geographies, and time zones
  • Organized with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Flexibility to adjust work hours to accommodate common time zones.


Work Experience:

  • Typically less than 2 years with bachelor's or equivalent.


Education and Certification(s):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.


Pay and Benefits:

  • $55,000 - 65,000 per year


Time is money, as they say. Our goal is to have an efficient recruitment and hiring process. We will select our top three candidates to have a preliminary call with our recruiter to discuss both parties' requirements up-front.
