Job Description The Senior Associate, Marketing Automation Programs acts as the platform owner for key client or prospect engagement programs by establishing strategy for ongoing automated programs including identification of messaging sequence, creating program flows and optimizing based on ongoing results. This role is a key liaison to work with stakeholders to design effective programs, analyze metrics and work with a team to execute programs.
Principal Responsibilities:

  • Act as a platform owner for Marketo to include creating and executing the strategy for automated marketing and client programs using data driven strategic approach to design multi-step, dynamic engagement.
  • Serve as liaison between marketing, partner and field teams, sales operations, IT, legal and compliance on matters related to the design and execution of automated engagement.
  • Provide insights and best practice guidance for infrastructure, processes and data that achieve efficiency and effectiveness goals. Improve client data quality.
  • Work with internal experts to make data available for program outreach along the lifecycle.
  • Participate in the analysis and conceptual design of proposed engagement programs, utilizing professional experience in the development of specifications, design parameters, and alternative solutions to improve observed results.
  • Analyze data at the detailed level, summarize findings and implications for executive management, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel format, with minimal oversight.
  • Establish and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work. Prepares status, management, and one-off reports as required.
  • Keep abreast of trends and advancements within area of specialization, incorporating these improvements where applicable.
  • Use experience and observations to inform future capability development and support complex marketing technology stack discussions including marketing automation, sales automation/CRM (Salesforce) as well as content tools.
  • May provide technical direction and some integration project management.


Qualifications & Requirements: .

  • 5+ years of directly related work experience involving business to business communications or marketing operations.
  • Proven experience working with customer relationship management systems, marketing automation tools and tracking tools to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience executing multi-asset marketing campaigns (to include emails, landing pages, forms and other content) in Marketo or similar email automation platform.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills in both business and technical situations.
  • Proven technical and analytical acumen to analyze metrics from multiple sources to detect root causes, determine implications and deliver executive summary findings.
  • Familiarity with B2B payments products a plus.
  • Demonstrated driver of strategy with ability to manage the projects associated with a customer or prospect nurturing program.
  • Proven experience documenting strategy in a compelling manner and executing the associated plan.
  • Knowledge of Marketo (or similar Marketing Automation System), data modeling, Adobe Analytics and integration with Salesforce.com CRM.


Key to success in this role will be an ability to focus on diverse client segments and needs while collaborating effectively across the organization and using well developed influencing skills to deliver the required outcomes of marketing and client engagement.
