Marketing Services
The Marketing Services job is responsible for reviewing and coordinating the production of promotional material to support marketing strategies and sales objectives. Under general supervision, this job develops and prepares marketing campaigns, resource plans, and other promotional materials for the marketing services team.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinates, either internally or by hiring specialized companies, production of advertising and promotional materials, such as graphic designs, printing, other media channels, etc.
  • Develops campaign plans and resources to ensure the department is running efficiently.
  • Prepares budget estimates and negotiates advertising and sales contracts with clients.
  • Measures advertising and promotion effectiveness for return-on-investment.
  • Works with marketing team to support marketing strategies and sales objectives that are in line with company goals and objectives.
  • Seeks advice from senior management regarding challenging marketing circumstances and other problems that require a deeper understanding.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Report to the MD, Head of Americas Institutional Client Marketing.
  • Be a member of the Americas Institutional Client Marketing team which works to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies supporting Nuveen's institutional distribution across the U.S., Canada and Latin America
  • Demonstrate an understanding of institutional investors and be able to successful work with a variety of stakeholders and subject matter experts to drive key marketing initiatives
  • Help support institutional Americas events working with the Events team and segment client marketers
    • Support proprietary webinars with assistance from digital events team
    • Create event invitations and all necessary correspondence, and social / web aspects
    • Create and maintain overall event calendar for the team
    • Communicate results across internal stakeholder audiences
  • Learn how to use, and assist with projects driven through Workfront system: organize projects, maintain campaigns, and assist with overflow work
  • Manage updates to Seismic page for Americas Institutional
  • Manage multiple projects at once and deliver on time
  • Assist with client marketing efforts around social media development and partnership with demand generation team for re-writes in "voice of sales" and seeking new content & topics; post and manage content in Hearsay tool
  • Lead the Americas version of marketing newsletter and work with global team to align content


Required Qualifications:

  • Two plus years of related financial services marketing experience or similar industry experience
  • Two plus years of knowledge utilizing marketing technology tools such as email automation systems, workflow tools, social content platforms, etc
  • Two plus years being highly organized individual with exceptional eye for detail who can manage multiple projects


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in marketing, communications or related field
  • Knowledge of institutional audience and sales process
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Track record of executing marketing initiatives with measured results
  • Ability to build relationships and influence across a large matrixed organization
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, deadline driven environment


Potential Salary: $78,100.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
