Marketing Assistant (Entry Level, Contract)
Gopuff is the go-to solution for immediate everyday needs, fulfilling customer orders of cleaning and home products to over-the-counter medications to food and drinks, and in some markets, alcohol - in just minutes.
We’re seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator (Contract) to work closely with our Fresh Foods leadership team as we build the strategy for a new vertical at Gopuff. You’ll help build our initial go-to-market strategy as we market a new brand and come up with creative ways to acquire and retain users. Your day-to-day efforts will support aggressive expansion efforts at a rapidly growing, early-stage start-up.
Responsibilities
- Managing social media channels and collaborating on digital strategy
- Creating well-written, creative, on-brand, effective campaigns across all digital platforms that connect us with our target customers
- Community manage and grow our organic follower base
- Identify and secure local partnerships, sponsorship opportunities, and involvement in local events, while introducing a brand that speaks to our target customers and building awareness from the ground up
- A/B testing, gathering analytics, and reporting on digital media channel effectiveness to the overall team
- Lead and manage outreach to customers to help the entire team better understand how to improve our product
- You’ll be working closely with several cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, product, and operation. You’ll provide insights that will influence our product roadmap and help our team succeed.
Requirements
- Must be at least be currently enrolled at a 4-year accredited university with 2+ years completed; major in Marketing or Business
- Knowledge of high-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred
- Love to write and have been told you’re good at it
- Speed, resourcefulness, and go-getter attitude
- Love to hustle and can get things done, whether that's behind a desk or out in the field
- Willingness to embody the culture and principles of an operator
- The ability to connect deeply and empathize with multiple types of people, from a software engineer to a barista
- Comfortable addressing challenges with ambiguous or incomplete information
- Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
- You have a customer-centric mindset
- A desire to build something awesome
