The Marketing Assets & Delivery Systems Manager manages features, functions, roadmaps, assets, and profiles for various marketing platforms to enable marketing activation across various channels. The ideal candidate is a marketer possessing experience managing creative assets, paired with an interest in improving related processes and systems to continually drive efficiency.
The Manager supports the organization, storage and archival of all marketing assets including final creative design files, as well as photography, video, digital, audio and multimedia assets for Whole Foods Market. The Manager also orchestrates the delivery of Marketing assets across various platforms used for distribution, printing, display and auditing.
Day-to-day, this Team Member will support the usage of, and assets related to shared marketing systems including traditional DAM platform, store signage ordering system, in-store content display network and a retail task management system. The Manager will be the liaison for third party partners as well as internal Marketing, Technology, Ecommerce, Store and Amazon teams who access shared marketing systems and assets.
The Marketing Assets & Delivery Systems Manager is a member of the Marketing Operations team within the Global Marketing organization, reporting to the Senior Marketing Asset Manager.
**This position is not fully remote and will require three days a week in our Austin office OR one of our regional offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal Marketing, Creative, Tech, Ecommerce, Store Operations, Amazon teams and 3rd party partners to manage assets and systems to fulfill marketing activations
  • Manage day-to-day needs for DAM platform, store signage ordering system, in-store content display network and retail task management system
  • With Sr Asset Manager and 3rd party partners, manage system workflows for business needs, and continually evaluate for efficiency improvements to serve business and user needs
  • Maintain the integrity of data architecture, file nomenclature and related metadata within the DAM and delivery systems to enhance searchability
  • Streamline, manage and audit user profiles, permissions and the configuration of security policies
  • Maintain accuracy of store locations, classifications and deliverables
  • Upload assets and final creative files to be accessible to team
  • Perform regular audit of assets for accuracy, archive as needed and gate access to expired assets
  • Develop training materials, video tutorials and educational sessions to foster user systems proficiency and best practices compliance
  • Track system bugs, provide clear documentation of updates needed, participate in QA review in staging and production environments
  • Participate in strategic planning for future vision of shared platforms, including prioritizing new features and enhancements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in Marketing, Communications, Library Science, Information Science or related field and 2-4+ years of experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience, including asset/systems management
  • Preferred experience in either an Agency or Retail Brand environment for creative assets across various media types
  • Proficiency in using digital asset management platform and shared marketing platforms
  • Experience with marketing/advertising assets desired and knowledge of various file types (JPEG, GIF, PDF, MOV, HTML, etc.)
  • Understanding of key asset specifications and requirements to fulfill marketing channel activations
  • Experience collaborating with Tech and 3rd party partners for systems maintenance and feature enhancements
  • Desired experience contributing to technical business requirements documentation, as well as general ability to communicate detailed information in a clear, organized manner
  • Basic knowledge of usage & rights management considerations in terms of time, territory, channel, etc.
  • Comfort working under accelerated timelines and multitasking to manage various projects
  • Resourceful self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity
