HackerOne is looking for a Marketing Analyst to join the marketing team at HackerOne. The Marketing Analyst will contribute to data-driven storytelling, forecasting, analytics, marketing channel optimization, end-to-end funnel analysis, performance reporting, and budget management and analysis (ROI). The ideal candidate is comfortable with both gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources, and turning that data into concrete insights and actionable recommendations for a fast-moving organization dedicated to the mission of empowering the world to build a safer internet. 


We are open to his person sitting remotely or in our San Francisco office. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing Operations. 

Your Journey at HackerOne

  • Define and implement frameworks for measuring, reporting, and analyzing marketing results 
  • Support the development of global marketing targets and track progress against the targets 
  • Build dashboards and standardized reports to measure the impact of our GTM marketing strategies and provide ongoing insight to marketing, sales, finance, and executive stakeholders
  • Maintain appropriate marketing key performance indicators and ROI models for marketing campaigns and out-of-campaign activities to determine the effectiveness 
  • Analyze data to determine the effectiveness of inbound marketing channel traffic, and develop recommendations for improving conversion rates, engagement, contact acquisition, and end-to-end funnel conversions
  • Work cross-functionally with sales and customer operations functions on standardizing data requirements to deliver required data sets for analysis
  • Work with the growth and digital teams to develop list segmentation strategies for outreach and analysis
  • Work with finance and marketing executives to track the marketing forecast and budget

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or other analytics-related field or 5 years of demonstrable experience in quantitative analytical work across finance, risk modeling, marketing, or a similar discipline. 2 years of marketing experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to document and tell stories related to result-sets to stakeholders and executives 
  • Confident in navigating large marketing data-sets
  • Ability to learn complex internal systems quickly to assemble and package required datasets for analysis, including cooperatively building and owning data pipelines that scale
  • Self-starter capable of executing high-quality work on a tight deadline 
  • Technical skills using Salesforce, SQL, advanced Sheets, Data Studio, or Tableau; Experience with Looker desired; Familiarity with marketing tools such as Marketo and 6Sense
  • Results-driven with a strong ability to conduct quantitative data analyses in order to determine ROI, forecasting, program effectiveness, and lead volume trends
