Job Title: Manager, User Experience and Engagement

Department: Marketing

Location: Nashville, TN or Remote

Overview

The Marketing Analytics team at Asurion helps teams make informed, data driven decisions to improve revenue growth through a series of tools. In this role, you will help create amazing experiences for tens of thousands of internal and external users with data-driven tools developed by the Marketing Analytics team. Our solutions are proven to improve sales performance by giving Sales and Marketing teams insights into performance trends, key metric drivers, and high ROI growth opportunity areas. In this role, you will own the experience for our end users. You will be the voice of the customer for our internal development teams, ensuring we are building solutions that are truly helpful and revenue-generating. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding customer needs, solving pain-points, excellent interpersonal skills, and bringing data stories to life. The candidate must be customer-centric, with the ability to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex entrepreneurial environment where ingenuity, rather than precedence, drives change.

HOW YOU WILL DRIVE IMPACT

User Experience

  • Developing a deep understanding of the end-user experience
  • Requirements gathering, vetting, and prioritization (as a contributor and/or owner)
  • Translate priority requests into work request for the development team
  • Own and contribute to design sessions with users and team members
  • Perform user acceptance testing
  • Design, capture, and evaluate tool metrics to understand user patterns



User Engagement

  • Drive product adoption, usage, and engagement with internal and external teams.
  • Engage account advocates to assist in driving analytics tools success
  • Engage users through a variety of methods to collect, analyze, and prioritize feature roadmap and release schedules
  • Partner with other Marketing Analytics members to showcase products to internal account meetings



PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, think critically, and drive results
  • Experience training others on new skills and tools; remote (video conference) training experience preferred
  • Excellent collaboration and cross functional partnership skills and ability to influence colleagues from all business functions
  • Self-motivated and able to act independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and communicate uncertainty proactively
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously



QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years' experience using data to inform business decision making and/or to drive results
  • 3+ years' experience leading projects from conception to delivery
  • Experience in product development (e.g., empathy interviews, requirements/backlog management, agile sprint planning, roadmap planning)
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical, and technical documentation skills
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in project management principles
  • Ability to present complex results and requirements to senior levels, both to clients and internally



PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in relevant field (marketing, business, finance, etc.)
  • Experience with data analysis as part or all of your position: could be as an analyst, modeling, consulting, planning/forecasting, sales/marketing/product operations and/or analytics
  • Experience working with Asurion products with the intent to drive growth through a combination of data and value messaging
  • Experience working directly or indirectly with mobility partners with a clear understanding of leader / seller motivations and workflows
  • Experience managing internal and external relationships and expectations



Travel: 10-15% to conduct research with end users.
