The Marketing Automation Manager will own marketing lead and opportunity analytics that influences many teams across Egnyte. This person will be responsible for the oversight of day-to-day activities, as well as taking on strategic initiatives and projects in helping maintain and evolve the team’s role within the Marketing department and beyond. The role will focus on the flawless execution of day-to-day operations, architecture of automation campaigns, email segmentation and deployment, and forward-thinking strategic projects. The role requires excellent organizational skills, as well as a strong eye for detail. You will report on pipeline and campaign performance, measure ROI, optimize for efficiency and identify any leakage across the marketing and sales funnel.
What You’ll Do (but is not limited to)

  • Go-to resource for the technical implementation of a complex email program with lifecycle campaigns, batched adhoc sends, and personalized nurture tracks
  • Build and constantly improve the company’s email marketing strategy, test plans, and overall program development while creating new flows, and nurture campaigns for prospects and customers
  • Manage prospect and customer database including creating and updating lists, segmenting data and list hygiene
  • Set up, testing, execution and reporting on Marketo-based campaigns (including landing pages, forms, and reports) for lead management, lead nurturing and lead scoring
  • Translate analytics into clear and actionable recommendations to drive qualified traffic and hone-in on revenue-building activity
  • Work with designers and developers to create web pages, landing pages, and emails and define A/B testing to optimize performance
  • Deploying global campaigns on time, to the correct audience, without any functionality errors
  • Take on strategic projects involving multiple systems or teams

Your Qualifications 

  • Demonstrated success executing marketing campaigns with expertise using Marketo including database management, building nurture programs, smart-list development, setup, testing, launching and scoring of campaigns & programs, and reporting on campaign analytics
  • Marketo certification is preferable, SFDC experience or SQL experience is a plus
  • Excellent writing skills, specifically copywriting targeted at the B2B buyer
  • Flexible & adaptable with the ability to work under pressure, to juggle multiple projects and requests, and to meet deadlines with close attention to detail and minimal guidance
  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and requests
  • Knowledge about email compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL)
