Job Summary

Job Summary

The Manager, Social Media Influencer Marketing is responsible for planning, developing and executing Invitation Homes digital content strategy across all social media channels; ensuring that it aligns with the company goals. This role will be responsible for editorial review of all digital content for messaging, style guidelines, brand consistency and voice. The incumbent will be a leader in emerging trends and influencer marketing and will stay on the pulse with new ideas that will elevate our brand.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Increase brand awareness and affinity through effective use of social media outlets
  • Create a strategic social media content calendar that is engaging to current and future residents and associates and expands our social media following across platforms
  • Research trending ideas and new channels to elevate our brand and resonate with our audience
  • Plan and execute influencer marketing campaigns across channels
  • Analyze engagement data, monitor social media KPIs, identify social media trends and optimize social media strategy as necessary
  • Coordinate daily content planning and creation in partnership with Social Media Engagement team
  • Oversee social media and reputation management to ensure a positive resident experience across all channels
  • Collaborate across the Marketing department to make sure that we're communicating key messages across our social media channels
  • Effectively coach, train, and develop team members


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or similar field preferred
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in social media and content strategy
  • Proven work experience and success in developing digital content strategy and managing an editorial calendar across multiple channels
  • Experience with social media analytics and scheduling tools; Social Studio/Radian6 a plus
  • Knowledge of creating and managing paid Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok campaigns
  • Proven experience in analytics; Google Analytics and Facebook Blueprint certifications preferred
  • Experience in leading a small team of professionals

Skills/Specialized Knowledge

  • Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, digital advertising and social media marketing
  • Extensive knowledge of grammar and AP style
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to create solutions to creative challenges and opportunities, along with developing relationships and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities
  • Excellent relationship builder interpersonal skills with collaborative team player mentality
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment

  • Must maintain professional appearance.
  • Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis; Overtime may be required for this position.


Physical and Mental Demands

This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. This position requires the ability to talk, hear, compare, compute, compile, copy, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate and communicate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.

Work Environment

Standard office working environment that may be busy and noisy at times.
