The Manager, Paid Search will be responsible for the implementation and management of all facets of Paid Search. This individual will effectively manage the flow of client deliverables related to Paid Search.

Responsibilities include maintaining control of the advertising budget, ensuring execution of all client plans, and monitoring performance. This individual will also be required to implement and develop department best practices and may be asked to develop POVs/position papers on key client or industry issues.

In this position, the Manager, Paid Search must be able to maintain effective communication within and outside of the agency to ensure accuracy and timeliness and that all campaign KPIs are met. This individual should have basic knowledge and understanding of media-related research, planning and buying tools.
Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, track, analyze and optimize Paid Search campaigns in all major search engines
  • Leverage site analytics programs for actionable insights
  • Create and utilize successful bid strategies and keyword management
  • Continually test all facets of a successful Paid Search campaign to hit all client KPIs
  • Communicate effectively with all essential team members
  • Communicate effectively, set and manage client expectations

Required Skills

  • Strong Excel, Keynote, and PPT skills
  • Paid search experience. Google AdWords & Bing Ads certifications preferred
  • Should possess strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain good relationships with outside vendors and clients as well as within the agency
  • Must be able to work well under pressure with attention to detail
  • Should possess a passion for and interest in digital and emerging media
  • Ability to learn new skills and tools quickly

Required Experience

  • 1-2 years' experience with planning or executing Paid Search campaigns
  • Familiarity with all major search engines (Google AdWords, Yahoo!, Bing, and other search engines)
  • Familiarity with media tools such as AdWords, DoubleClick, Acquisio, Marin Software, etc.
