ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Develops integrated media plans and sources and acquires advertising space utilizing various media types including but not limited to linear television, CTV, YouTube and other online video, audio streaming, direct mail, paid email lead generation, OOH, and DOOH advertising. Plans strategic media procurement designed to reach target audiences through various media channels.
  • Prepares media buy recommendations, analysis, and media channel performance. Monitors audience and median trends, practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Optimizes relevant media channel mix within given media budget.
  • Recommends media strategy insights and suggests tactics with rationale to meet campaign objectives.
  • Collaborates with other marketing channels, creative, public relations, and others to develop campaigns that successfully target audiences within given budgets.
  • Encourages a pro-active team approach to media analysis and advertising performance. Presents ideas, researches, trains, and mentors media purchasing team members.
  • Audits, reviews, and analyzes advertising campaigns to ensure optimal performance. Pursues daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance KPIs across relevant media channels.
  • Oversees execution of day-to-day work in all media channels including technical setup, tagging, tracking and contracts for relevant campaigns.
  • Supports the execution of the creative strategy across relevant media channels, inclusive of both internal and external TV production projects.
  • Manages relationships with third party agencies who help manage media portfolios.
  • Follows prescribed legal guidelines and requirements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Five years of previous relevant media buying experience, with specific experience in CTV and YouTube preferred.
  • Strong quantitative skills required to analyze and optimize campaign performance.
  • Ability to develop plans that are thorough, realistic, and effective in meeting goals.
  • Practical knowledge of key advertising tactics and KPIs.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and to manage multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet ROI goals.
  • Must be results driven, self-propelled, detail oriented, and a team player.
  • Must be able to evaluate the economic and strategic cost-benefit of partnerships.
  • Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • Competency with internet and mobile technologies.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Knowledgeable in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Agency, media company, or publisher experience preferred.
  • Ecommerce or retail experience preferred.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or similar.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
