Manager, Marketing Strategy & Operations

West Monroe is currently seeking a talented Manager to join our Marketing Strategy & Operations team within our Customer Solutions practice. The Manager will be responsible for leading project teams and developing customer-centric strategies for our clients to Be Digital in the areas of marketing strategy and operations. We help our clients to increase customer acquisition and engagement, revenue growth, and marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Client Delivery
- Lead client engagements and workstreams related to marketing strategy, process optimization, operating model, marketing analytics, and technology enablement to achieve client's desired business outcomes
- Develop data driven, customer-centric strategies, use cases, business cases, roadmaps, and recommendations that deliver business value and support client marketing transformations
- Mentor and manage project delivery teams for successful delivery and client satisfaction
- Manage client relationships to determine business and functional requirements
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and thorough understanding of how to interpret client business needs and the translation of those needs into strategic recommendations, actionable initiatives and roadmaps, and operational and technology requirements
- Facilitate effective change management programs within the client organization
People and Practice Development
- Be a leader and role-model for growing and developing the Marketing Strategy team within the Customer Solutions practice
- Develop and enhance West Monroe’s methodologies and approaches to client delivery and provide thought leadership for marketing strategy and operations
- Advise, mentor, and develop consultants and actively participate in the performance management process
- Participate actively in the recruiting process to grow the Marketing Strategy team
Business Development
- Participate in business development with prospective clients including pre-sales, proposals, negotiating and project planning
- Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for prospective clients
- Participate in key client relationships and growing those accounts within Customer Solutions practice and cross selling to other areas within West Monroe
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience working for a consulting firm, agency, or as a Marketing Strategy or Operations leader in industry
- Executive presence, collaborative working style, and strong communication skills for interacting with client managers, directors, VPs, CMOs and CXOs
- Industry marketing and management consulting abilities in marketing front office (e.g., marketing effectiveness, channel design & customer engagement, marketing analytics, marketing operations, and marketing technology)
- Knowledge of marketing operations and technologies overall marketing process
- Prior experience in defining and driving improvements in marketing strategy, marketing operations, and marketing technology
- Prior experience with customer engagement strategy across web, mobile, social, traditional, and physical channels
- Prior experience with marketing content and digital asset management solutions
- Prior experience with marketing analytics, reporting, and dashboards
- Ability to work well with people including project stakeholders and project team members
- Ability to travel to client-site 30-50%
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without limitation

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of one year of employment.
