Manager, Marketing Innovation
Bounteous is looking for an experienced Manager, Marketing Innovation to join the Customer Marketing Strategy team who has a stellar track record in enterprise level technology platform leadership. This positive, forward-thinking team member will consult with customer / channel experience and lifecycle design to guide clients and internal teams to select and adopt enterprise technology that drive long term client business goals.
As a Manager, Marketing Innovation you will play an important role in terms of collaborating with marketing strategy, business development, enterprise partnership, technology implementation & marketing operational teams to determine the right technology that meets client needs.
Role and Responsibilities
- Identify, select and support enterprise marketing technology across omni-channel campaign design with competency and best practice.
- Develop repeatable RFI and discovery questions to enable rapid client solutioning engagements.
- Research client's digital ecosystems, enterprise products & capabilities/services to provided guided strategic recommendations on tools to enable client goals.
- Bring strategic ideas to the table and innovate with team members on approaches to improving customer experience.
- Be aware of and articulate industry technology trends, new product releases, and product roadmaps.
- Ownership and guidance of marketing technology recommendations across new and existing client accounts. Deliverables could include, but not limited to:
- Website content personalization platform selection.
- Email/SMS/Push/Social channel platform selection.
- Provide POVs on new channels and enterprise & bespoke technologies, with the ability to be persuasive to clients.
- Deliver phased C/W/R technology roadmaps aligned to client operational and aspirational goals.
- Learn from leaders and influencers to guide the team competency in the right direction.
- Teach others on the team to lead and grow in new ways
- Be Reflective by sharing the things they hear that the team should know in order to be successful.
- Define account quality standards in collaboration with other marketing practice, strategic insights, client services and project management leaders.
- Implement best practices and directing competencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong leadership experience with marketing product vendor selection and recommendation.
- Deep experience with enterprise digital marketing & social products and platforms including Adobe Campaign Classic/Standard, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Message Gears, Send Grid, Klaviyo, Facebook, and others.
- Experience & knowledge of enterprise website personalization, including Google Marketing Cloud, Google AdWords/Analytics, AEM, Adobe Target, Aquia Personalize, and others.
- Strong understanding of loyalty solution platforms that include individual offer management and other loyalty mechanics.
- Preference given to candidates with experience & working knowledge of enterprise MarTech, including current Adobe Experience Cloud (AEP, ACC/ACS, Target) and Salesforce Cloud (SFMC, SF Commerce Cloud), products. Active certifications are preferred.
- BS/BA in Management, Marketing and E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, overall responsiveness, and strong written and oral communication.
- Strong experience in solution design.
- Can collaborate and engage Technology delivery teams with ease. Cross discipline teams include Platform implementation, Data Analytics, Experience Design, Quality Assurance and more.
- Experience with contextual marketing solutions.
- Experience working at a digital agency, with multiple competing clients & deliverables.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Some familiarity with SQL, HTML, JS, CSS, APIs
- Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
- Has experience quickly learning the capabilities of new technologies and identifying realistic use cases of the technology
- Ability to be comfortable progressing work with ambiguity and incomplete knowledge.
- Has the mentality of an Autodidact.
