Position: Manager, Marketing Communictions

Business Unit: Crane Payment Innovations

Location: Malvern, PA

THE ROLE

This is a strategic, highly visible role where you can have a direct impact on the Strategic Marketing Organization and CPI overall with primary responsibility to support execution of a compelling marketing communications strategy. The Manager, Marketing Communications leads the team that designs and implements campaigns that elevate the CPI brand to increase awareness and engagement. Key measures of success are revenue growth & retention for strategic initiatives and product launches.

The Manager, Marketing Communications reports to the VP, Strategic Marketing and acts as a primary liaison between the sales and product management teams, the CPI leadership team, and our customers. At CPI, the marketing communications team is essential to the effective deployment of new product launches, media strategies, sales support tools and daily marketing activities.

WHO WE WANT

A successful Manager of Marketing Communications must be highly creative with strong writing, presentation, and verbal communications skills. He or she is a leader, expert pitch artist, and storyteller with credibility that extends from customers to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Partners with product management and VPGMs to articulate the communications strategies and programs that will generate awareness and leads for the upcoming fiscal period-including measurements and goals focused on revenue growth and revenue retention
  • Lead the marketing communications team to define specific launch goals and strategies by developing launch plans and supporting documentation and ensuring cross-organizational readiness. Track and communicate launch status.
  • Partners with product management, sales, and VPGMs to define team resources, specific plans and budgets for promoting assigned product(s) and services to new customers
  • Accountability for marketing communications team performance, including execution of marketing plans, lead generation activities, content strategy, digital property management and public relations/media campaigns, and the measurement and reporting thereof
  • Support senior leadership team with ongoing internal communications initiatives, and the development of annual strategic and operating plans
  • Create and deliver thoughtful information to influence key market constituent and audiences via strong content. Deliver presentations to internal and external audiences


Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Journalism, Communications
  • Team lead or and management experience
  • 6-10 years of professional/relevant work experience with specific experience in the market function
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
