The Team:
The Corporate Marketing Team at Celonis is looking for a Manager of Marketing Analytics to manage the reporting and measurement of major cross-functional Marketing programs and initiatives. This role will be responsible for helping our Corporate Marketing team develop a master marketing performance dashboard and develop a comprehensive, data-driven investment model to show the full picture from resources to results.
The Role:
In this role, you will manage KPI/OKR monitoring, measurement, analytics, and budget tracking, cross-functionally with internal stakeholders from Marketing teams like Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, PR, Social, Web, Events, Analyst Relations, and Partner Marketing to ensure that all programs across these groups are correctly resourced, measured, and reported on - including to our Executive Leadership.
Some of the KPIs that this role will be responsible for tracking and measuring include: website traffic (especially organic traffic growth), other website metrics such as conversion rate and traffic sources, social media metrics such as engagement rate and follower growth, brand campaign metrics such as out-of-home advertising impressions, virtual and physical event metrics such as attendance rate and sales pipeline in room, overall brand awareness metrics such as brand sentiment and recognition, and return on investment on various marketing tactics.
Some of the Marketing programs that this role will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on include: content marketing, social media, global events, brand campaigns (including out-of-home/billboard and TV advertising), major company announcements and product launches, account-based marketing, and executive programs.
This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing Execution.
Responsibilities:
- Create a comprehensive, data-driven model for Marketing programs and initiatives, including budget tracking, ROI calculation, and KPI monitoring.
- Establish a master Marketing Analytics Dashboard that tracks progress toward all major Marketing program KPIs.
- Align with our Chief Marketing Officer and the leaders of all Corporate Marketing offices to develop tailored budgeting and measurement strategies, proving the value of sometimes difficult-to-measure marketing activities, such as social media and out-of-home brand awareness campaigns.
- Operate as a center of excellence to enable all Marketers to track and measure their goals, and ensure department-wide adoption of budget and measurement best practices.
- Work with the Finance team to ensure that Marketing spend and budget actuals are up-to-date.
- Communicate marketing results and impact to the business through regular updates on email and in meetings.
- Evaluate new projects and requests for new tools to determine business requirements, budget allocation, and recommendations for measurement.
- Manage a suite of tools used for Marketing analytics.
- Manage survey tools and instruments to measure brand awareness and sentiment.
- Work with external advertising and PR agencies to gather data for holistic reporting.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Marketing Analytics and Marketing Operations
- Experience developing frameworks for marketing reporting, analysis, and forecasting to support decision-making and improve understanding of marketing performance
- A demonstrated track record of data-driven analysis
- Experience with project/resource planning and budgeting systems for marketing, such as Mavenlink, Monday.com, Seismic/Percolate, and of course, spreadsheets
- Experience with marketing campaign analytics systems, such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, Looker, Tableau, Salesforce/Pardot, Sprinklr, and Meltwater
- Experience analyzing campaigns and measuring marketing performance based on KPIs like total reach, impressions, social media engagement and conversation impact, and pipeline generation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
