The Team
This role reports into the Sr. Director of Partner Marketing Comms within the Ecosystem Marketing office. You would join a Marketing team with an ambitious mindset and diverse creativity, giving you enough room for significant impact and the chance to leave your mark on this hyper growth software brand.
The Role
As the AppDev Marketing Director, you will create and deliver community marketing programs for app developers with services and software companies, with the goal of increasing engagement through certification, app publication, knowledge share and attendance at AppDev organized events (i.e. best practice webinars, hackathons, AppDev Conference at Celosphere). A background in product management/ marketing and a tangible experience with app developer programs, app stores and app marketplaces are a big plus.
Highlights of what you will be doing:
- Create a Celonis app developer community anchored on an annual app developer conference where the community exchange, learn and get inspired.
- Work closely with the partner organization to identify priorities and develop marketing programs to create awareness of App Creator Trainings and Certifications, Celonis Studio, The Marketplace, and App Developer Success to acquire app developers at partner companies.
- Build launch campaigns to execute together with partner companies to launch the apps they develop on the Celonis platform.
- Build launch campaigns toolkits for partners to self-execute the launches of the apps they develop on the Celonis platform.
- Analyze market and business data to identify and report key trends, achievements against targets and execute on key findings to achieve App Development Program results.
- Support regular business reviews with leadership for the Celonis App Development Program.
- Work with Operations to build custom reports and ensure tracking of activities for your withing the App Development Marketing Program.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in app/ISV partner management/marketing.
- 7+ years of experience at technology companies in the enterprise software space.
- Possess an expert understanding of how to drive business and marketing (acquisition of app developers, sales readiness, app launches, app adoption) with and through partner companies.
- Proven success in managing complex and multi-faceted marketing programs with the ability to drive projects through completion. Comfortable managing, time-sensitive, and competing priorities simultaneously and ability to pivot as needed.
- Strong project skills with experience gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside and outside the organization.
- Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business.
- Excel at creative thinking, problem solving, and driven by results and impact.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
- Analytical tendencies with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible.
- A strong team player. Comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
