As part of our Marketing Operations team you will work closely with division marketing, commercial, finance, IT and corporate colleagues and as a result will need to seamlessly work in these different worlds; understanding what is important to your key marketing partners and deliver with excellence helping drive $2B+ annual revenue. Data integrations will include systems from numerous sources (digital, offline, sales, revenue, BI, CRM and more). You must be comfortable with hands-on building and connecting data while flexing as needed as we continually evolve and refine our methodologies. With calmness and composure, you will interact with marketing and IT colleagues and relate to people at all levels; moving and influencing a group into a common direction with a common vision.

A Day in the life

  • Lead the development and implementation of various initiatives and processes across functions and business units to monitor and manage performance. These will include monthly or quarterly performance reviews both written and oral.
  • Apply your skills to automate stitching data together for efficiency; while also applying your expertise to perform or communicate to others the use of complex data models for more statistically confident insights and action plans.
  • Work with members of marketing teams to develop and communicate actionable, revenue generating insights and strategies by analyzing performance across online and offline channels.
  • Lead and support the definition of automation, data-driven lead generation models and develop report mechanisms and increasingly predictive self-serve dashboards.
  • Serve as a trusted analytics partner to business and marketing leaders by understanding and presenting actionable commercial and marketing reports and analyses to support business decisions.
  • Develop methodologies to determine ROI of various marketing efforts
  • Diplomatically relationship manage between analytics and business partners (marketers, executives, cross-divisional groups)



Keys to Success
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or related field preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience



Experience:

  • 5+ years of analytics experience required including combining data from web, digital media, BI, SFDC CRM, Eloqua marketing automation, and other data warehousing tools
  • Experienced in information lifecycle management, including data governance, data quality, data management, data mining, marketing automation, CRM/sales force automation processes and tools and best practices
  • Advanced use of data modeling tools including MS Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, sumifs),SQL, Python and others
  • Demonstrated experience defining and constructing complex B2B marketing reports in DOMO, PowerBI, Tableau (or similar visualization tools)
  • Adobe and Google Analytics (or similar) desired



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • B2B marketing and life science experience
  • Statistics
  • Experience leading and influencing others in a large corporation within a matrix org structure
  • Demonstrated success utilizing Data Science to accelerate ROI in marketing function
  • Strong project management, consulting, and problem-solving skills.
