BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT Responsible for the strategy, development and overseeing the implementation of enhancements of the Kohl's Card Marketing initiatives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
DEVELOPS LOYALTY PROGRAM STRATEGY

  • Leads strategy and planning with cross-functional teams for Kohl's Loyalty and Credit marketing initiatives
  • Oversee the creation of master program calendar of key events, offers, test campaigns to manage complexity of program touchpoints
  • Manage the Loyalty and Credit program journeys, optimizing based on customer insights and performance data, to drive program growth, adoption and engagement.
  • Responsible for all Loyalty and Credit program creative and messaging hierarchies
  • Continuously understand Customer needs and evaluate industry trends, evolving program offerings through innovation to deliver an exceptional experience and value
  • Drives and delivers month end, quarter end and annual hindsight (what worked, what didn't, results) and deliver recommendations for go-forward actions


ESTABLISHES AND LEADS PARTNERSHIP WITH STAKEHOLDERS

  • Oversees the process for working with Capital one and internal compliance and legal teams to ensure program marketing strategy and approach comply with terms and requirements
  • Integrate Loyalty program voice and brand expression within broader Marketing
  • Main point of contact for marketing stakeholders, including promotional strategy, planning and execution teams by developing strong and collaborative relationships
  • Leads team that drives execution of tests, working with Personalization and/or marketing teams based on priorities defined by program strategy lead
  • Drive innovation pipeline, and roadmap prioritization, in close partnership with analytics, insights, and technology teams to advance loyalty offers, features, and experiences


MANAGEMENT OF ASSOCIATES

  • Manages direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals in accordance with Kohl's policies and practices
  • Prepares and analyze unit plans and reports
  • Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the operating area
  • Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications
  • Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans


QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED

  • 5+ years of marketing strategy and/or technology experience
  • Experience leading an effective team
  • Data driven with strong financial acumen
  • Ability to quickly establish relationships with key partners
  • Highly collaborative
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills


PREFERRED

  • Masters degree
  • Loyalty/CRM experience
  • Experience in both marketing strategy AND technology
  • Experience with consumer credit regulations, federal and state
