Highlights:

As the Manager of Knowledge and Communications, you focus on aligning operational content and the messaging associated with business change for the client-facing teams we support. You effectively manage your workload while processing new requests. You excel at establishing and maintaining a holistic, proactive and effective approach to internal communications and knowledge management efforts. You accelerate company growth and efficiency by serving as the key stakeholder in the success of internal communications and knowledge content. You serve as a consultant for teams in need of content assistance.

You continuously improve internal communications and knowledge management processes through in-depth evaluations and recommendations for strategies and initiatives. You maximize process improvements by taking the appropriate actions to keep all stakeholders informed of critical updates. You have a keen ability for identifying roadblocks and overcoming obstacles to create a clear path forward for effective operations. You thrive in an office environment consulting with multiple teams simultaneously. You report directly to the Director of the Transformation Office for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:

  • Promote company-wide success by actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
  • Ensure messages are being delivered in a consistent and efficient manner by developing regular feedback channels to promote cross-communication within the company.
  • Continuously improve the internal communications processes by monitoring feedback and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Improve efficiency through the development of knowledge and understanding and application of internal communication tools and techniques.
  • Encourage effective company communications among all team members by assisting the communications leadership in developing strategies and plans.
  • Enhance team morale and productivity by serving as a liaison and helping others to understand key company strategies and each team member's role in achieving company goals.
  • Increase communication effectiveness by developing and managing various communications tools, including printed publications, intranet communications, employee meetings and events, videos and announcements.
  • Support leadership teams by bringing clarity and actionable deliverables from ambiguous ideas through copywriting, presentation development, panel support and meeting facilitation.
  • Counsel other corporate teams to improve open communication and provide communication considerations from the team when planning major company initiatives, events and announcements.
  • Assist supervisors and managers at the field level with messaging, tools and training to improve their internal communications.
  • Develop written and video content to produce and distribute for the ongoing company-wide quarterly newsletter which focuses on our over-arching vision.
  • Provide communications support on the planning and post-implementation of high-priority programs.
  • Prepare leadership for high-visibility conferences by developing and managing all related communications collateral.

Required keys for success:

  • Seven or more years of experience in communications, public relations or public affairs.
  • Must provide samples, including newsletters, intranet communications, employee meetings and events, videos or announcements.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and process improvement skills.
  • Track record of partnering cross-functionally and leading through influence.
  • History of strategically organizing and managing multiple tasks and time to meet simultaneous deadlines.
  • Solid ability to analyze and interpret data and summarize written copy into easy-to-understand content.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Comfortable and confident in an ambiguous environment.
  • Proven interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Integrity, sound judgment and effective decision-making ability.
  • Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.

How you will stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with Adobe Suite and Oracle.
  • Proven change management experience.

Your education:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, business or a related field (required).
