Job Description
The Manager of Funnel Marketing will lead the team of direct marketing specialist and marketing data specialist within the AMR regional marketing team based in San Diego, CA. This individual is responsible for maintaining and improving process as it relates to the moving leads through the funnel, tracking and monitoring data and metrics, as well as SLA compliance with the goal of delivering high quality opportunities to our sales and specialist teams. Participation in key operational projects and partnering with other parts of marketing and commercial organizations will also be a key part of this role. Continued support and partnership of global alignment activities with other regional leaders, and involvement in KPI gathering and dashboard support. Maintaining and improving training process, delivering commercial and marketing training and documentation, and participating in programs focused around employees who are new in career. A successful Funnel Marketing manager would need to be extremely organized, process oriented and exhibit good teamwork and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Typically has 5+ years of related experience
- 3+ years' experience in marketing in Genomics or related field
- Proven track-record of working constructively with sales
- Experience in and familiarity with the NGS market including customer base, market segments, technologies and products, and applications.
- Previous experience in customer-facing role (sales, support, etc.) is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication/presentation skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills are required
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience working with SalesForce.com or a similar CRM database a plus.
- Efficient time management skills with the ability to stay focused on primary business objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Travel requirement: ~10% (40%+ if off-site)
- Education:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Genomics education or experience is a plus
