    About the Job

    Primary Objectives - Reporting to the leader of the Content Marketing and Strategy team, the selected candidate will develop content across owned and paid channels, including global website, social media, and go-to-market campaigns, while promoting brand voice and messaging, implementing SEO and digital strategies, driving engagement with users, and incorporating feedback from measurable performance of assets. 

    The Manager for Content Marketing will work closely with fellow content marketers and the content marketing team to develop highly engaging and impactful marketing assets across owned and paid channels, as well as for go-to-market campaigns and revenue-driving initiatives. 

    This position plays a significant role in planning and executing on content strategy while also working with the broader content team on enterprise-wide projects. The role will also work cross-functionally with the Global Brand, Digital, Demand Activation/Generation, Public Relations, and Product Marketing teams.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage content development for key business priorities, creating a clear, engaging story and maintaining global brand voice and verbal identity
    • Execute content strategy throughout owned (website, social) and paid (social ads, Google ads) channels, aligning with SEO best practices and leveraging performance analytics to improve engagement and conversion
    • Collaborate with regional demand generation/activation and product marketing teams to create integrated marketing plans for key priorities, developing content plan, story, and key messages as well as managing the drafting, revisions, and execution of high-quality campaign content 
    • Draft, review, and revise web content for insights, solutions, about, and landing pages, effectively and accurately incorporating NielsenIQ data into content as appropriate 
    • Work with product marketing and experiential marketing teams product/commercial teams to ensure content such as marketing collateral, sales tools, and event collateral maintains brand voice and drives engagement with target audience

    About you

    • You are passionate with a positive attitude who takes initiative and leads peers/stakeholders through new, innovative projects.
    • Equal parts marketer and writer; has a firm understanding of how content takes users through the customer journey to fill the sales funnel
    • A storyteller, with a talent for simplifying complex stories and concepts through an economy of words, relevant examples, as well as resonant ideas and imagery
    • Exceptional writing skills in a marketing and communication environment, including editing and proofreading.
    • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to share and promote ideas across global teams.
    • Understand performance analytics, including how to iterate and optimize content based on feedback and data.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years experience in a marketing communications and/or content marketing role in either a corporate or agency environment
    • Bachelor's Degree in liberal arts or business; Master’s degree a plus.
    • Examples that show off your communication, writing, and project management skills. 
    • A strong understanding of B2B content and campaign dynamics, including email and social marketing best practices. 
    • Proven success in driving results-oriented content strategies to serve uniquely targeted audiences.
    • Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing best practices. 
    • Experience with web analytic tools or an ability to incorporate new tools into regular use

    Skills

    • Hard skills: Writing, web publishing, campaign execution, project management. 
    • Plus skills: Marketing automation, graphic design, product marketing, experience with consumer goods/FMCG (retail/manufacturing) 
    • Preferred software skills: MS Office Suite, WordPress, Trello, Google analytics
    • Plus software skills: CRM/software tools, HTML, Campaign Management (Pardot, Marketo), SEMRush, Brightedge, Sprinklr, Data Management Platform
    • Ability to grasp complexities and nuances of solutions portfolio and simplify differentiated capabilities into clear marketing content.
    • Tech-savvy ability to learn and incorporate digital tools into daily use
