What You Will Do:
We are seeking a cloud platform solutions marketing manager to drive Meraki’s growth further. This role is responsible for positioning and programs that target businesses globally across various verticals and segments. The role reports into the Director of Solutions Marketing. You will work in the market strategy team working closely with product, audience, and customer marketing functions. You will partner with other functions such as integrated marketing, demand generation, sales, and product management. You will,
- Own and lead the marketing function of the Meraki cloud platform and APIs
- Specialize in platform, dashboard, XaaS, APIs and cloud services
- Amplify cloud platform benefits and the dashboard experience into marketing channels (content, communications, social media, key customer engagements and events)
- Create pull-through for Meraki products through platform positioning across outbound and sales enablement content/programs
- Build the cloud platform messaging architecture with use-cases targeting buyer personas
- Champion and coordinate cloud platform messaging among internal teams
- Initiate and execute projects, with feedback loop across stakeholders, driving them toward overall business goals of pipeline and revenue
- Be the trusted advisor to the seller community on the value of the cloud platform
- Evangelize the Cisco Meraki vision and solutions at internal and industry events
- Suggest strategies and tactics to address platform, XaaS and API industry trends
- Analyze competitive landscape and propose response/mitigation tactics
- Measure and track progress of owned projects and programs

- 10+ years of product, solutions, or technology marketing experience
- A proven track record of marketing to technical audiences and leading teams
- Experience in the enterprise software, networking, or SaaS industry
- Familiarity with developer platforms designed using APIs and SDKs
- Customer-facing experience across a variety of segments globally
- Ability to unearth customer requirements and connect to the business
- Competent in converting product features into durable benefits
- Possess impeccable written and spoken communications
- Storyteller with simple and thoughtful persuasion using well-defined visuals
- Can demonstrate a portfolio of powerful content, long-form and short-form
- Creative problem solver who meets or beats project timelines
- Decisive and comfortable with a matrix organization
- Able to quickly build consensus up, down and across teams and partners
- Highly proactive, skilled at independently initiating, leading and measuring projects
- Hold Bachelor's degree, MBA or master’s degree is a plus
- Flexible to travel up to 25%, when it is safe to do so
