The Job

This role will supervise the development, follow-through, and maintenance of marketing campaigns to collectively drive the business to customer focused outcomes. The ideal candidate has significant expertise developing and optimizing customer marketing campaigns throughout their lifecycle. They will have a proven track record of using marketing results, customer insights, and analytics to inform and scale a successful global marketing program.

In this role, the Lifecycle Marketing Strategist will conceptualize, develop, own and execute personalized programs for Buildertrend's customer base to reduce time to value throughout the customer lifecycle. You will partner with the customer success, customer experience, user research, and data analytics teams to translate business strategy and requirements into scaled marketing campaigns to reduce time to value for Buildertrend customers in multiple stages of the customer lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end development and management of customer campaigns across channels (e.g., in-product, email, digital advertising, web etc.), including strategy, campaign setup, deliverable project management, A/B testing, localization, reporting, and optimization with a goal to encourage software adoption and minimize churn.
  • Work closely with several other key business units across the entire organization to create personalized and consistent cross-channel messaging.
  • Iteratively test and improve all marketing streams to optimize customer experience while maximizing MRR and LTV.
  • Consistently improve upon and inspire change in methodologies and constantly look for opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Present regularly on program performance and successes to leadership and be accountable for achieving business goals.
  • Actively monitor all campaign analytics and communicate results effectively to the team with recommended actions for optimization.

Qualifications
• 3-5 years' experience in marketing strategy and execution
• Possesses an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the financial, accounting, marketing and operational functions of an organization.
• Able to establish a clear vision for success and identifying and developing the plan to ensure a successful outcome. Understanding and considering how the goal will affect the greater good of the company, while keeping in mind what it will take to maximize results.
• Seeks out opportunities for continuous learning to expand one's role and increase one's contribution on the job. Proactive rather than reactive in both thought and action.
• Accountability and taking responsibility for one's actions and the consequences that result from those actions.
• Achieving quantifiable and measurable results despite obstacles, problems, risks, distractions or pressures. Meets bold goals for the business with an eagerness to challenge the status quo to meet objectives.
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, problem solving, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to identify areas of mutual agreement, remove obstacles, address opposition and facilitate win-win solutions.
• Excellent cross-functional collaborator, striking deep relationships and ability to influence functional teams to gain consensus on vision for driving performance objectives.
• Detailed, strategic problem solver with strong analytical skills to synthesize raw data into meaningful campaign optimization strategies for new and existing initiatives
• Excels at project management to deliver multiple competing objectives and priorities on time, and while coordinating with multiple internal teams, each with their own roadmaps
• Strong creativity with the ability to understand how Buildertrend's products relate to achieving our customers' business objectives!
• Hands-on, get-it-done demeanor with excellent project management skills for complex, cross-functional campaigns
• Positive attitude, collaborative, energetic, and optimistic!
