Description and Requirements
PURPOSE
Lenovo is seeking an experienced Marketing Leader to support the International Sales Organization (ISO). This individual will work hand-in-hand with the business to develop the go-to-market strategy to build demand for Lenovo solutions and increase customer engagement. The Marketing Leader will oversee a team responsible for global marketing initiatives aimed at accelerating Lenovo's transformation. You will need a thorough understanding of Lenovo's business, products, and solution vision in order to be successful.
Partnering with the global sales and Marketing Insights teams, you will focus on cultivating a deep, shared understanding of our customer and developing messaging and content to drive meaningful engagement between customers and sellers. Collaborating with the International Sales Organization (ISO) and global stakeholders across Business Groups, you will oversee initiatives that strengthen the positioning of our competitive advantages, frame our value proposition to customers and partners across segments, unite strategic efforts on key growth initiatives, and drive global activation with consistency.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with ISO leadership and WW business and marketing stakeholders to understand business strategies, objectives, and priorities; lead the team in defining ISO marketing priorities
  • Define marketing strategies and programs to increase customer engagement and drive demand for Lenovo solutions, engaging business and geo stakeholders throughout the process
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to oversee execution planning
  • Oversee the Lenovo sales value proposition and messaging strategy, educating key constituent groups to drive deep understanding, and ensuring all produced content clearly aligns
  • Apply your unique skills and insights to build a deeper internal understanding of our customers' needs and Lenovo's value offering
  • Be an ambassador for the Lenovo brand and voice; socialize the work of the team broadly across global constituent groups
  • Stay current on customer, industry, and competitive trends to identify trends and anticipate consumer needs
  • Implement an integrated governance process in alignment with ISO priorities align priorities and track activities and performance globally
  • Manage the quarterly marketing budget and associated operational activities


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in Marketing or relevant field
  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience for a hardware and/or technology company
  • Demonstrated understanding of the customer decision journey and sales process and related technologies to manage customer relationships and engagement
  • Experience building integrated marketing campaigns and programs to drive sales results
  • Experience leading a team within a global organization
  • Ability to understand and simplify complex information
  • Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective and persuasive communication skills
  • Proficiency in global communication standards
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness and impact
  • Ability to work with others in a highly collaborative work environment
