Job Summary
The Specialist role on the Corporate Internal Communications team is responsible for supporting companywide communications, events and activities, with an additional focus on employees based on our Philadelphia Campus. This individual will assist in the creation of employee-facing messaging, execution of communications campaigns, and coordination of cross-functional activities. They will be a key contributor in a fast-paced and complex environment, and should exhibit strong writing and organization skills, as well as experience supporting internal client management.
Job Description

Core Responsibilities
  • Assists in the development and execution of strategic employee communications and engagement plans designed to support key business objectives and long-term goals.
  • Assists with internal communications support for key internal stakeholders and departments, and liaisons with communication leads within Corporate Headquarters and the Divisions, Regions and Functions.
  • Creates employee-facing messaging, including web copy, feature content, newsletters, digital assets and more, for wide employee audiences.
  • Leads the creation of internal social media campaigns and consults on social strategy for key internal stakeholders.
  • Provides overall project support for the Corporate Internal Communications team.
  • Assists in planning and executing internal events, broadcasts and activities, including at Philadelphia Campus.
  • Helps keep communications fresh, creative, and engaging; assists in development and exploration of new ideas and strategies.
  • Analyzes metrics and trends to assess the effectiveness and impact of Employee Communications initiatives and tools, and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Assists in managing consultants/contracted resources as needed, including interns.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent; communications preferred
  • Generally requires relevant communications experience
  • Digital tools management and graphic design experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to write quickly; distilling complex concepts into key messages is critical in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective partnerships across the organization at all levels
  • Strong project management skills and pronounced attention to detail
  • Able to work well within a team, as well as work independently on projects
