About the Role:

Remitly is looking for an experienced Sr. Internal Communications Manager who cares about helping others succeed. We believe that engaged employees create superior products and experiences for our customers, and that one of the keys to an engaged team is effective communication. In the Sr. Internal Communications Manager role, you will drive a range of communications across multiple channels with a goal of keeping employees connected to our vision, and helping each team member understand how their individual role contributes to our broader goals.

This role reports to the Director of Communications.

You Will:

• Look around corners to spot the latest topics and lead the development and execution of internal communication plans
• Develop creative internal communications strategies that engage our diverse, global employee base
• Provide expert internal communications counsel to the executive leadership team and communicate with multiple internal partners
• Develop executive communications strategies that meet senior leaders' employee experience goals
• Develop creative, effective approaches to difficult communications challenges
• Provide counsel for executives and reactive or crisis communications
• Create metrics to measure communication effectiveness, reach and engagement
• Report communication strategy effectiveness to company partners
• Help guide adoption of new communications tools and propose new methods to grow our internal communications efforts while maintaining authentic voice and storytelling

You Have:

• Minimum of 7-8 years of professional experience in strategic communications
• Internal communications experience within a global company
• Experience building robust communications plans from ideation to measurement/evaluation
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience working backward from ambiguous requirements to create clear communications
• Experience writing and turning complex information into relevant, engaging, and valuable content
• Experience with change management communications and advising organizational leaders
• Experience producing relevant content for diverse internal audiences at varying levels across and organization
• Experience building trust and communicating across teams and with senior leaders
• Experience creating content: digital, written, video, or visual communications material
