MuleSoft is one of the fastest growing business units at Salesforce, and we are looking for an integrated marketing campaigns professional to lead our thought leadership and brand campaigns. In this role, you will bring together people, process, and technology into scalable global campaigns that drive awareness of MuleSoft's brand and value proposition to generate leads among CIO and business visionary target audiences.

You will be empowered to manage a significant operation, working cross-functionally with other teams (e.g. demand generation, creative, content, product marketing, and corporate marketing) and more to bring the best campaign strategies to life.

Job description:

  • MuleSoft's Integrated Marketing Campaigns lead role requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills to inform, persuade, and convert target audiences with full funnel integrated marketing campaigns strategies to design, launch, measure, operationalize, and optimize thought leadership campaigns.
  • This person must have an exceptional ability to quickly process, synthesize, and communicate complex technical concepts and product messaging, and adapt it to the nuances of audiences on a global & regional, vertical & horizontal scale.
  • Adept in understanding organizational dynamics and building trusted relationships with senior executives, unifying competing priorities in a single, unified set of integrated campaigns each quarter.
  • Experience working on brand campaigns in-house or agency for B2B enterprise SaaS market to help brands enter new markets, bring awareness of value proposition to clients' biggest challenges, and convert unaware audiences into Sales prospects.
  • Excellent presentation skills; able to persuade, inspire, and align diverse stakeholders across the organization on a shared process, set of priorities, and secure commitments to deliver thought leadership content and promotion across digital channels (paid social, SEM/retargeting, content syndication, email, blog, web) according to your project plan & timeline to bring MuleSoft's most important messaging to market.


Job Details:

  • Independent ownership of project management and campaign execution to develop a comprehensive Integrated Marketing Campaigns with key stakeholders across the organization including Corporate Marketing, Strategic Events, and Demand Generation counterparts.
  • Lead the process of marketing business reviews, setting the agenda and ensuring the team are focused on the important issues for performance.
  • Monitor performance of all marketing KPIs and metrics, identifying opportunities to share best practice and to drive improvements and recovery plans where necessary.
  • Own the coordination and delivery of key marketing programs ensuring delivery to time, quality and cost.
  • To be an active and engaged member of the Integrated Campaigns team, driving planning & strategy across marketing functions to deliver their goals and objectives.


Candidate Characteristics:

  • 7+ years Integrated Campaign management experience in B2B Enterprise SaaS market. Proven track record of success building, launching, and measuring successful branding and/or demand generation integrated campaigns. Versed in operations, strategy, and messaging.
  • In-house or agency experience in brand campaigns. Ability to build messaging that resonates with variety of target audiences to take Corporate Marketing message and scale with campaigns targeting CIOs, technical leaders, and business visionaries. Relationships with branding and/or digital marketing agencies to deliver integrated marketing campaigns on third-party outlets strongly preferred.
  • Operational excellence. Sharp eye for detail, able to synthesize channels, business requirements, thought leadership concepts, and operations of digital channels and wrap into comprehensive integrated marketing campaigns project management plan. Expertise in one or more systems preferred, including Wrike, Marketo, Salesforce, SEM/SEO, LinkedIn, Content Syndication, Drupal, Smarpshare, and Wordpress.
  • Results-oriented. Numbers and performance driven, you don't just study the numbers you drive decisions and action to improve the marketing performance. Experience creating insights to optimize campaign performance preferred (Salesforce/Tableau/Google Analytics).
  • Compelling communicator. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to synthesize complex product messaging and uplevel to create substantive messaging that grabs the attention of CIO and business executives. Advanced in presentation and visual internal communications.
  • Strategic thinker. A planner with vision to fully connect the business objectives to the marketing plan and programs with the ability to make connections and identify opportunities that drive impact.
  • A true team player. A leader and relationship builder strong in collaborating across different disciplines, time zones and cultures and thrives within a matrix organization
  • Entrepreneurial. A highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency and a belief in MuleSoft's mission. Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful. Direct people management is a plus.
