Job Purpose

Job Title: Incident Communications Specialist

The Digital Payment Solutions division of Fiserv, one of the leading fintech companies in the world, is seeking an Incident Communications Specialist to help drive client communication initiatives during and after incidents.

This person will be responsible for helping implement and execute incident communication work by executing communication strategies in partnership with Incident Management, Problem Management and Relationship Management teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fintech or software development firm, be able to help drive client communications and collaborate with associates across divisions and functional teams. This person must also have strong problem-solving and client service skills and be detail oriented.

This position requires participation in a rotating 365/24/7 on-call schedule.

Responsibilities:• Manage deadline-driven incident communication assignments while producing accurate and timely root cause analysis documents in support of the efforts of Account Management and Client Services. Requires the ability to routinely process new information and effectively communicate the appropriate level of detail.• Interview subject matter experts, research features, and collaborate with Product Management, Account Management and other resources to draft high-quality communications in support of incidents.• Primary resource for Digital Payment Solutions communication SOP processes and procedures document.• Refine processes contributing to the efficiency of the team and supporting the creation of quality communications.• Provide 24x7 on call support to alert external clients of outages and system degradation.• Support the efforts of Corporate Communications on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:• 0-3 years professional experience• BS/BA in Business Management, Communications, English, Technical Writing or similar major• Experience in a fast-paced technology environment• Familiarity, or willingness to learn Microsoft 360 solutions including SharePoint and Teams• Exceptional organizational skills• Proactive, action-oriented focus• Collaborative mindset• Ability to travel up to 5%
