About the Role

Riskified is looking for a dynamic senior leader to create, execute, and drive our external communications strategy in order to build our brand, tell our narrative, and raise awareness on a global level.  

In a complex, diverse and competitive market, this PR and Communications leader will know how to ensure that our narrative is differentiated and told consistently and repeatedly. You have experience with generating substantial media coverage in relevant publications, especially in the North American market, and helping Riskified position itself as a thought leader.

You are someone who is extremely passionate, creative, and strategic. You are able to understand the impact of developing a purposeful brand and you are a great storyteller. You’ve been a leader in the past, and are ready to lead our global PR/Comms/Social teams at Riskified. You also have extensive experience creating compelling stories and having the media carry and repeat them. You’re someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and who is excited to work closely with our senior leadership team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own and develop Riskified’s narrative, brand, and story
  • Manage entire external communications strategy, plan, and calendar 
  • Collaborate closely with Investor Relations, Internal Comms, as well as our entire executive team and CEO
  • Generate meaningful press coverage of Riskified through direct media relations and our PR agencies 
  • Train all stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure that all communications are consistent with the Riskified narrative
  • Develop strategies to measurably improve aided and unaided brand awareness within our target markets
  • Develop a KPI framework to measure success
  • Provide coaching and media training for our team
  • Manage and drive agencies to produce high quality coverage
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice across social media accounts
  • Work with product marketing to own relations with top industry analyst firms like Gartner, IDC and Forrester and elevate Riskified’s market leadership in the industry
  • Manage a global team 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of pr/comms marketing experience driving B2B communications in the tech industry at a fast growing company
  • 5+ years leading a global team
  • In-house and agency experience
  • Experience launching and developing brands in new markets
  • Crisp and compelling verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate closely with executives
  • Excellence at getting customers as narrators for stories as well as using employees as a communications force multiplier
