Your Impact:

Handshake is hiring a Head of Marketing Operations to own our systems and end-to-end lead processes, ensuring that we’re built for impact, agility, and scale. 

With your guidance and vision, you will scale our Marketing Operations team, processes and priorities to ensure we’re built to achieve across the board. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all of the systems between marketing, sales and our in-product experience are optimized and enable us to understand what works, what doesn’t and get closer towards our goal of saying the right thing to the right person at the right time. 

You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Revenue Operations team to build full-funnel revenue models for our business, connecting those with our marketing plan and helping to make sure our campaign calendar is forecasting enough impact to leads and pipeline and providing line of sight towards hitting our goals. 

Your Role:

  • Own our marketing systems architecture and strategy, ensuring the right data for insights and action passes seamlessly between marketing, sales and product systems 

  • Build and progress our revenue marketing model, looking at channels, campaigns, and sources against sales segments, geographies, and account prioritization

  • Taking a leadership role in our marketing planning process, helping to connect the dots between goals and budgeting

  • Manage and mentor our marketing operations team (both internal and external), evolving and progressing the way we work to meet the needs of the business

  • Build a scalable function that can serve as a center of excellence for international GTM and the student and university sides of our marketplace

  • Partner across the org to ensure we’re operating with compliance and subscription best practices in mind

Your Experience:

  • Senior experience in marketing operations or similar roles, ideally within B2B SaaS supporting both Enterprise and high-velocity sales cycles in a rapid growth type of environment

  • Deep marketing systems knowledge from Marketing Automation, SFDC, Google Analytics, and more - and a perspective on the underlying processes that they enable

  • You’ve developed a strong point of view on analytics, data capture, campaign measurement, ABM metrics and can represent CAC, LTV, and channel performance

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and revenue funnel

  • Experience extracting, analyzing, summarizing and communicating data 

  • Comfort working in a fast paced, changing environment and willing to take initiative

Bonus Areas of Expertise: 

  • Marketing ops in support of a product-led growth motion and/or marketplace GTM

  • Experienced manager having built and scaled high performing teams

 

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
