In this role you will lead a multi-disciplinary marketing organization reporting into the VP of Innovyze, a recently acquired business unit and global leader in water distribution, drainage design and asset management software for the water industry. You will be responsible for all aspects of marketing including industry, product, digital, demand generation, content, event, and technical marketing with the objective of driving business results for Innovyze while also preparing the marketing group for integration into Autodesk and ensuring the sustained growth of the water business line. You will work closely with Autodesk's Emerging Products, Acquisitions and Growth team to implement proven growth strategies and leverage other Autodesk marketing groups to attain business results.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a high performing team of diverse marketing professionals to drive growth and execute on the vision and strategy for the Innovyze business line
  • Lead the development of complex, integrated, and omnichannel marketing programs that support the full customer buying journey to achieve business goals
  • Oversee a comprehensive content strategy for Innovyze including compelling success stories and a regular cadence of content to drive awareness, demand and build community
  • Partner with the business strategy, and audience insights teams to develop and communicate compelling and differentiated messaging for use across the buyer journey
  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and research and analyze customer needs and behaviors to stay ahead of industry trends and enable teams across the company to maximize their effectiveness

  • Have an ability to juggle multiple projects, influence stakeholders and drive decisions to closure

  • Are a data driven marketer who uses market intelligence and analytics to measure and optimize marketing efforts and programs
  • Have an ability to simplify and communicate complex strategies to internal and external stakeholders and inspire others with the business' vision for the water industry



Minimum Qualifications

  • Defining marketing goals and objectives for your group and leading team members from planning through execution
  • Successfully leading inbound marketing initiatives across the buyer's journey and for diverse audiences tracking budget and ROI and driving continuous optimization across all channels
  • Conducting customer research to inform messaging, value propositions, buyer personas and marketing opportunities
  • Managing teams through organizational change
  • Working effectively in global virtual and dispersed teams
  • Coordinating people and activities across multiple functional areas, including product management, industry and retention marketing, public relations, demand generation and corporate marketing groups
  • Managing and allocating budgets for marketing initiatives, tracking ROI and driving continuous optimization across channels
  • Experience and knowledge in working with public agencies/utilities



Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a marketing role
  • Previous management experience essential
  • Global business experience
  • Working with Water, Civil Engineering or AEC engineering providers
  • B2B software or SaaS based businesses preferred
  • MBA or Master's degree in marketing or communications preferred
