Enova’s marketing department owns the brand identity, customer acquisition, and customer engagement efforts for Enova’s portfolio of brands which serve consumer and small business market segments in the US and Brazil. About the role:

Come join Enova as the Head of Direct Marketing supporting our fast growing online consumer and small business lending brands. Enova is searching for a marketing leader with deep experience in pre-approved direct mail acquisition and portfolio marketing (customer retention and engagement) for our consumer online lending businesses, including NetCredit (netcredit.com), CashNetUSA (cashnetusa.com), and OnDeck (ondeck.com). You will be a key part of the marketing leadership team, working closely with the head of marketing for each brand and the P&L leaders to bring fast, trustworthy credit to consumers and help grow our profitable businesses through direct mail, email, and other direct marketing programs. You will be responsible for strategy and execution of our direct marketing programs working with an internal team and external partners.
What you’ll do:
- Strategy and Capability Management – Lead development and management of multi-year direct marketing strategy and capabilities, e.g. market segmentation, campaign approach, technology tools, data sources, and people skills, for the company in U.S. and international markets. Manage internal partners, i.e. Portfolio Analytics, Marketing Analytics, and Product Management, and external partners, e.g. mail house, CRAs, to build direct marketing roadmaps integrated with product and marketing strategies.
- Campaign & Program Management– Responsible for overseeing direct marketing in support of P&Ls, i.e. all aspects of mail and email, including budget allocation, offers, targeting and testing strategy, campaign execution, performance tracking and recommendations. Optimize product, pricing, and offers, and collaborate with modeling team to refresh existing models and introduce new models that improve response rates, loan issue rates, and portfolio performance.
- Growth Advocate – Be an advocate for business growth, exploring new opportunities and moving fast to take advantage of marketplace trends and market movements.
- Business Leadership – As member of Marketing Leadership Team, participate in guiding the marketing community at Enova, and developing marketing policies and practices. In addition, engage with leaders in other groups to align goals, allocate resources efficiently, and build a company culture that keeps Enova an awesome place to work.
- Talent Management – Identify, recruit, and develop Top Talent that helps Enova maintain top decile business performance.
We're excited about you if you have:
- Recent experience providing leadership to a marketing team in a high-growth business
- 10-15 years of experience in direct marketing, relationship/portfolio marketing, financial services or other regulated industry, and direct mail acquisition marketing in roles of increasing responsibility
- Experience using data analytics and modelling for acquisition and portfolio marketing
- Proven success with managing vendors and business partner relationships
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to understand and use quantitative data to develop business insights and deliver business results
- Ability to promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organization in a matrixed environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Are intellectually curious and have a desire to have fun
