What we’re looking for
We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, analytical, resourceful, and customer-centric acquisition-focused growth marketer to join our Acquisition Marketing Team.
This role will be responsible for incremental customer growth in two main areas of focus: programmatic CTV/OTT and Web/App conversion rate optimization. You will be responsible for managing the performance of our programmatic CTV/OTT streaming media campaigns to drive customer growth. This will involve planning, negotiation, set-up, optimization and reporting for each campaign. On the Web/App conversion rate optimization side, you will work to turn traffic from campaigns across our media mix into users at a higher rate by optimizing our website, iOS Appstore, and Google Play marketing presence. You will continuously help us learn and grow through staying up to date on media trends, recommending new tests and constantly tracking campaign performance.
This is an ideal early career role for someone interested in digital and growth marketing fast-paced, high-impact environment and is eager to get hands-on experience quickly.
The role will report to the Manager of Offline and Emerging Channels but will work with the entire marketing team, as well as product, engineering, and design to build a smooth, informative, and customized experience for new customers through the entire acquisition funnel. It will involve both day-to-day hands-on and high-level work in strategizing and executing to improve the customer journey. The successful candidate will have an “always-be-testing” mentality combined with a long-term and customer-focused view.
Our ideal candidate is a digital marketer with 3-5 years of experience and increasing responsibility. Bonus points for dedicated work in Media Planning/Buying, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Appstore Optimization (ASO), SEO, Creative Testing, and/or direct experience in CTV/OTT. The right person has run A/B tests and understands the statistics but also has extreme empathy for the customer. This person has worked with creative teams to go from insight, to brief, to concept, to production, to live creative being served programmatically to millions of customers. And then iterated to make it work even better to meet business goals. You will look at our ads and immediately have ideas to make them more impactful. Then you will visit our homepage and immediately see ten things you want to test, be able to develop a framework to pick the first three to test, and know the tools needed to measure the impact. You will be able to take learnings and share them across the entire team to make everything work better.
You have a successful track record of meeting and exceeding goals while designing and driving high-performance programs in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of the supporting data and systems.
What you’ll do
- Plan, negotiate, launch, and manage programmatic CTV/OTT and future streaming audio campaigns
- Be responsible for full campaign setup with each vendor, including contract approval process, media budget & invoice management, pixel implementation, trafficking creative assets, creative flighting and testing schedules
- Effectively communicate media plans, channel performance, and test outcomes to relevant stakeholders
- Continuously monitor and update campaign pacing, ensuring campaigns are on-time and on-budget
- Own the Marketing components of our Appstore pages, our top source for new customers, including the testing roadmap and conversion performance
- Develop and own the testing roadmap for our Marketing Website for new working with internal teams to drive improvements
- Drive all conversion testing through ideation, prioritization, sourcing of needed assets, test structure, monitoring, reporting, and iteration
- Coordinate with SEO and content teams to drive increased traffic and conversion rates from organic sources
- Dive deeply into web analytics to understand the impact of not only your efforts, but all teams that impact the content, structure, and flows of our new customers
- Be a team-player, helping both the wider Marketing Team and entire M1 Team in accomplishing their respective goals
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in B2C digital marketing with at least 2 years directly relevant to the ownership areas of this role
- Direct experience with programmatic media buying within a DSP is a plus
- Proven experience in managing A/B and multivariate testing with strong foundation in statistics and user analytics
- Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong organizational, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Extremely detail-oriented and comfort with numbers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Endless curiosity and willingness to ask questions
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with particular expertise in MS Excel
Nice to Haves
- Advanced knowledge of web analytics and online testing applications such as Google Analytics & Tag Manager, Optimizely, Adobe Target, Crazyegg, Google Optimize 360, Hotjar, EyeQuant, etc
- Experience and understanding of the full marketing funnel, respective KPIs, incrementality, multi-touch attribution, and treating marketing dollars like an investment portfolio
- Experience and understanding of finance or the finance industry is a plus. Demonstrated interest in personal finance is a big plus
