About the role

We are actively looking for an exceptional Growth Marketing Manager to join our small and growing team. We (and the digital finance industry) are experiencing tremendous growth, and performance marketing is one of the driving forces behind this. You will be focusing mostly on paid growth via channels like Google and Apple Search Ads, but also tasked with onboarding and managing additional channels as we continue to expand our digital footprint.

  • Digital advertising: You live and breathe performance marketing and understand how to efficiently grow businesses
  • Problem Solving: You have no problem rolling up your sleeves and figuring out how to solve problems as they relate to user acquisition, data, and product funnels.
  • Data analysis: You have the motivation and ability to dig for insights in data and prefer to work autonomously whenever possible.
  • Delivering results: You can deliver tangible, measured results from performance advertising, and can iterate on campaigns to drive incremental growth. 
  • Understanding the landscape: You stay up to date on all things digital marketing and paid acquisition to ensure no stones are left unturned and that the company is aware of any platform or attribution evolutions. 
  • Communication: You have the ability to synthesize information and concisely communicate important information to the broader team.

Responsibilities

  • Own and operate core paid acquisition channels (Google App Campaigns, Apple Search Ads)
  • Build and grow our campaign architecture to reach new audiences and drive down costs
  • Deliver insights and actionable findings for the team
  • Test new acquisition channels and tactics
  • Reconcile discrepancies in data and attribution
  • Manage budgets and forecast results
  • Present to leadership on outcomes and proposed iterations

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years working in mobile app ads campaigns
  • Personally managed Google paid media at scale
  • Strong storyteller who understand the psychology of brand building, new audience building, and how ads work within the marketing ecosystem
  • Track-record of success growth quality user bases at a D2C startup, preferably with subscription basis
  • Command of business economics and the relation to ad budgeting and spend (CAC:LTV, ROAS, ARPU, Paid back window)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with an ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong functional and technical understanding of the UA tech stack including MMPs (Adjust, AppsFlyer etc) and attribution services. 
  • Obsessed with analytics and command of data tooling (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Metabase, Chartio, Mixpanel). 
  • Proficiency with SQL and advanced Excel skills preferred
