Creation Platform is the team within Spotify responsible for building the best tools for audio creators. We have three platforms that help us deliver a great creator experience: Anchor (the platform that allows you to create, distribute, monetize, and grow a podcast, all for free), Spotify for Podcasters (the platform that makes it easy to understand and engage with your listeners on Spotify, and Greenroom (the platform that allows anyone to stream or listen to live audio). 


Spotify’s Creation Platform Marketing team is searching for a Growth Marketing Manager, who will work cross-functionally with many teams including Insights, Creator, and AdOps to define investment strategy, measurement requirements, and media approach. The Growth Marketing Manager will lead the holistic paid acquisition strategy; work with marketing teams to plan digital media advertising campaigns on key platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Search, and more for Spotify’s Anchor and Spotify for Podcasters products. This role will also be responsible for audio creation brands’ audio advertising strategy and work with internal and external teams to launch and optimize campaigns. Reporting to the Global Brand Lead, this hire will have a direct influence on our growth strategy and our ability to continue evolving the audio creator experience.

What you'll do:

  • Give oversight of performance management of creator acquisition marketing activity across different creator-facing products and markets
  • Optimize global paid media campaigns by analyzing market trends, testing new targeting segments, channels, and creative assets
  • Craft opportunities and solutions to improve paid media channels through keeping a pulse on a key basket of funnel efficiency and conversion metrics
  • Have a strong sense of data analytics to influence your decisions, crafting a reporting strategy, developing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and communicating this analysis and findings to relevant internal groups
  • Work with Media, Insights, research, and Ad Operations teams to craft research plans, interpret results, synthesize learning and action on insights
  • Work with local marketers on scaling global media campaigns and takeaways locally and find new areas of growth
  • Handle new and ongoing paid media partnerships with cross-functional teams at Spotify
  • Work with brand and performance marketing teams, as well as AdOps teams to brief, forecast, and deploy digital and audio campaigns

Who you are:

  • You have 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and executing paid media strategies of digitally-focused acquisition marketing campaigns. Experience in audio advertising is a plus!
  • Someone with significant familiarity with tools across the marketing stack, such as: Segment, GA, GTM, Unbounce, DSPs, etc
  • You are analytically driven with a strong understanding of data (SQL proficiency strongly preferred), and related tools (such as Tableau, Adjust, etc), and the underlying methodologies used to advise decision making
  • Experience crafting and reporting on key data and critical metrics
  • A doer with critical attention to detail and an ability to optimally balance big-picture strategic work with execution
  • A phenomenal teammate who is able to optimally lead sophisticated cross-functional projects
