Why You Will Make an Impact:


Wyze is looking to hire a Growth Marketer to help us grow our service products–Cam Plus, Wyze Home Monitoring, Sprinkler Plus, and future value-added services. Growth Marketers at Wyze are part of an internal growth team made up of product managers, marketers, analysts, researchers, developers, and designers, all of whom focus on...well, growth. The Growth Marketer’s role is to lead growth experiments that focus on improving the various parts of the customer journey, from awareness to advocacy and retention. The Growth Marketer will develop personas, build user segments, and use customer engagement tools such as email, SMS, social media, and app messages to acquire customers and increase customer lifetime value. An applicant to this role should be data-driven and love continual experimentation to improve results. If this resonates with you, come and join our marketing team!

A Look Inside the Role:

  • Research and understand current services and their related products & app flows
  • Spend time understanding the customer journey and then crafting meaningful customer segments
  • Relentlessly consider customer behavior and adjust tactics to optimize engagement
  • A/B test various steps in the customer journey - message types, campaign messaging, sending times to deliver the most engagement
  • Work with a diverse, cross-functional team to coordinate marketing and growth experiments for assigned product(s)
  • Develop new ways to grow the product outside of traditional marketing channels
  • Build, administer, and analyze customer experience surveys
  • Create engaging customer workflows inside of Braze that consist of emails, in-app messages, push notifications, SMS, and direct mail elements
  • Draft engaging messages to deliver on our various message channels (email, app, SMS, and direct mail)
  • Work with partner teams to create assets and optimize advertising campaigns
  • Strive to reach assigned critical metrics
  • Communicate campaign performance and insights with leadership
  • Work with the retail channels team to find new growth opportunities

You Already Have These Qualifications and Love What You Do:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills (writing sample required)
  • The ability to find opportunities and bring ideas to fruition
  • A sound understanding of basic marketing principles such as customer segmentation, value propositions, etc.
  • Experience in customer communications (e.g., email marketing, direct mail, web copywriting, content marketing, etc.)
  • Data-driven thinking and a laser focus on optimizing for results

And Even Better if the Following Applies to You:

  • Demonstrated ability in consumer marketing
  • Familiarity with the Segment.com and Braze customer platforms
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, and other development languages
  • Experience handling paid advertising budgets
  • Proven examples where you have thought outside typical methods to achieve results
  • Familiarity working with retail partners and retail marketing in general
  • Is a Wyze product owner
