Overview

Come join the TurboTax Marketing Strategy Team as a Group Marketing Manager.

This critical role is responsible for building new capabilities for Intuit hyper-focused on driving both customer retention and re-acquisition. With advancements in data science models, DR capabilities, and commerce technologies, this manager will lead a team in developing and implementing solutions focused on driving irrational loyalty amongst our existing 40M+ customer base as well as crafting strategies focused on reacquiring former TurboTax customers that have left the franchise in recent years.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced marketing professional to lead a team responsible for translating customer insights into the development of break-through Go-To-Market programs and innovative customer experiences to deliver on aggressive short and long term goals. It is an ideal role for someone who is customer obsessed and is an expert in developing and evolving experiences with a customer-centric and data-backed lens. This leader should be experienced at leading and influencing cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Product Development, Design, Analytics and Finance, and thrives on being accountable for business innovation and performance. What you'll bring

  • 10+ years of product marketing experience, including 5 years of building and leading teams, developing product/service experiences and driving revenue & customer growth.
  • Experience leading the end-to-end commercialization strategy, including value proposition definition, product/service experience development, and messaging.
  • Experience developing strong creative briefs that drive insights into design direction, with a critical eye for marketing content and designs that drive business results
  • Strong research capability with experience in consumer segmentation and using design thinking and scientific methodologies to inform decision making; A/B testing experience is a mandatory.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with clear examples of using data actively for customer insights, measurement, ROI analysis and recommendations.
  • Strong track record of leadership and people management, including influencing in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Have the ability to roll-up sleeves and lead by example at both strategic and tactical levels
  • BA/BS required, MBA strongly preferred



How you will lead

  • Manage the development of personalized and targeted Go-To-Market and offer strategies, with a focus on challenging conventional wisdom, utilizing new capabilities, and innovating boldly to deliver persuasive, confidence inspiring experiences
  • Define the short and long term retention strategy and test plans with a focus on the life time value of every customer in a seasonal business
  • Partner with the product, design, customer success and analytics teams to deliver and A/B test new customer experiences and influence the product/service roadmap
  • Develop and use customer segmentation to deliver personalized marketing and customer experiences
  • Actively analyze business and test data to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive business results.
  • Partner with finance to help develop the annual plan and future plans on a 3-5 year horizon
  • Coach and develop a team of direct reports, removing barriers and supporting them so they can do the best work of their lives.
