At Elemental Scientific Inc., both print and digital media play a strong role in creating effective marketing campaigns through graphic design. ESI is looking for a skilled Graphic Designer with experience in conceptualizing, producing and editing various product and corporate marketing materials to support the company's global marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate must be organized, creative and energetic. The candidate should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into graphics, layouts and other designs. The ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced fluid environment is also critical to this position.

• Design and produce various marketing materials in print and digital format including: infographics, catalogs, brochures, flyers, posters and tradeshow collateral• Ensure that produced materials are functional, graphically exciting and conform to the company standards• Coordinate and collaborate with various levels of staff to produce comprehensive materials• Manage multiple projects, deadlines and approvals simultaneously• Coordinate with outside agencies, printers and colleagues as necessary• Designing, implementing and managing our social media platforms• Writing excellent copy for social posts that communicate our brand to followers• Defining social media KPIs and measuring the success of each social media account• Staying up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies• Assist marketing team by performing other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field• 3-5 years of experience in a graphics-related environment, as demonstrated by a strong design portfolio• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite• Skilled designer with the ability to think outside the box and an exceptional understanding of design principles (typography, imagery, color, layout, etc.)• Ability to build an online community, monitor brand mentions and create social connections• Excellent knowledge of social media best practices• Good understanding of social media KPIs• Ability to learn technical details of ESI's various product lines• General knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel• Ability to think strategically as well as creatively• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task• Great communication skills with diverse personalities and a team-oriented attitude• Highly-motivated self-starter• Good understanding of design integration for various types of print processes• Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines• Ability to adapt to changing project parameters and diverse project assignments• Familiarity with analytical chemistry is a plus
