Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience working in marketing, brand marketing, or general management.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing/mentoring teams.
  • Experience with integrated marketing campaigns and defining roadmaps.
  • Experience partnering with agencies, partners, teams, and more to translate best practices into insights to make informed recommendations/plans.
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make decisions.
  • Ability to translate audience learnings and big picture concepts into actionable insights that shape Go-to-Market strategies.
  • Passion for creating transformative work, leading teams, and communicating.



About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

In this role you will lead a team of marketing strategists and work across internal functions like product, growth, media, production, PR and with external agencies to build and execute on personalized experiences that communicate important stories and value proposition about the YouTube brand. You'll be a thought leader and play a critical role in enabling creator success. You'll make sure the creator is always understood and meeting the creator needs is at the center of our work.

The Creator Marketing team focuses on making YouTube the best place for creators by celebrating, supporting, and inspiring the creative partner ecosystem. A core part of our job is developing and launching cross-channel marketing campaigns for creators across the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy and roadmap for getting appropriate content to creators at the right time.
  • Drive efficiency and optimize performance to align market delivery and the departments through standardized processes and tracking projects/workflows from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across teams that work creators.
  • Partner with the marketing research/social media team to develop audience research and insights to inform positioning strategy, launch plans, measurement frameworks, and learnings.
  • Develop strategies for creators and craft solutions and engagement plans that scale based on emerging insights and community needs.
