Red Hat's Global Demand Marketing team is looking for a strategic and energetic Senior Principal Financial Services Marketing Manager to join us. In this role, you will implement global demand marketing programs, developing a complete buyer's journey with multiple tactics and offers to generate demand, increase revenue, and build brand awareness for Red Hat's solutions with strategic Red Hat industry accounts in the insurance and capital markets segments. You will work closely with the broader Global FSI marketing team to develop integrated campaigns, as well as support the Account Based Marketing (ABM), Field Marketing, and Sales teams with contextually relevant industry marketing and enablement. As a Senior Principal Financial Services Marketing Manager, you will also plan and carry out a coherent vertical marketing plan, including both direct and digital marketing, social media, retargeting, field events, etc. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Design, develop, and deploy field-ready marketing campaigns and regional engagement programs that will increase awareness and preference and generate leads within the strategic Red Hat's insurance and capital markets accounts
  • Use Red Hat's campaign program framework and product marketing offers and assets as well as define net-new content in support of vertical themes and solutions
  • Support the implementation of your strategies in Red Hat's insurance and capital market account clusters with industry insights, customer insights and purchase propensity trends, persona development, and industry-tailored persona-level messaging
  • Partner with a regional marketing team to develop and enable field teams with industry insights, vertical messaging, persona guidance, and recommended channels for engagement
  • Manage the lead funnel and guide effectiveness and efficiency of the campaigns, including monitoring top-of-funnel volume, funnel conversion rates, and pipeline generated for a defined set of key insurance and capital markets' financial services industry (FSI) accounts
  • Analyze results, metrics, and reports to define effectiveness of program activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes


What you will bring

  • 10+ years of B2B program marketing experience in the technology product or services field; experience within the FSI vertical with insurance or capital markets accounts is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to create and develop strategies and integrated marketing campaigns that grow awareness and demand; ability to carry out the tactical elements of these plans
  • Solid project management, planning, and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to take the initiative and deliver projects with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop relationships and communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple urgent tasks, projects, and relationships
  • Experience with Tableau, Eloqua, Salesforce.com (SFDC), or On24 is a plus
