About the Role:
America's field marketing team is seeking a highly strategic, analytical, creative, and highly adaptable Marketing Manager with excellent writing and interpersonal skills and a strong history of building and executing strategic marketing plans - preferably for B2B enterprise software.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving campaign strategy and pipeline support programs to generate new business opportunities for Epicor's retail solutions. In this role, you will manage a variety of marketing projects focused on conceiving and executing targeted programs to drive sales. Key to success in this role is effective collaboration with other departments including sales, product marketing, product management, territory development, creative services, and more. As the principal for this team, you'll lead projects and mentor other team members.
What You'll Do:

  • Sets strategic marketing direction and omnichannel campaign strategy, execution and optimization; Leads projects and mentors other team members.
  • Develops and recommends strategy for ROI-oriented marketing activities and programs; analyzes and provides recommendations based on reporting and measurement to determine the effectiveness of programs.
  • Designs and implements marketing lead generation programs, tools, and guidelines to be used by the sales team.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop print and electronic communications, web presence, events, thought leadership, sales support materials, social media and other efforts that align with sales and business goals; Uses knowledge from industry practices to recommend innovative marketing campaigns and ideas.
  • Participates in tradeshows to develop business relationships with customers and prospects to better understand their goals and challenges
  • Create consistent communication with sales senior level leadership to promote awareness of programs, provide activity updates, and solicit feedback.
  • Negotiate contracts and arrangements with outside vendors supplying services or materials in support of marketing programs.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; MBA a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in marketing
  • 3+ years experience in marketing enterprise SaaS solutions; Understanding of B2B software industry - especially ERP.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication and writing skills, strong business acumen, and strong project management, problem solving, and strategic thinking capability.
  • Strong writing/proofreading skills and positive, high-energy, team-focused attitude are must
  • Self-starter who knows when to pull the right people into a project, proven collaboration experience
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and project management skills
  • Knowledge of branding concepts
  • Demonstrated passion and proven ability to learn technology quickly.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • Proven success building comprehensive marketing plans for a B2B software company
  • Understanding and knowledge of the Lumber and Building Materials Supply market is highly desirable.
  • Creativity, adaptability, persuasiveness and strong work ethic.
