The Director, Field Marketing is responsible for supporting the sales team in the Midwest region, providing the sales strategies, adoption campaign development, sales messaging, liaison to national marketing, sales materials, and events management needed to achieve the team's sales revenue targets.
Responsibilities of the Director, Field Marketing:

  • Manage the execution and positioning of sales strategy deliverables, including regional sales collateral, local marketing campaigns, and other special projects directly supporting the Midwest sales region.


  • Lead regional sales strategies and marketing efforts for the pre-work, submission, and selling phases of the Midwest regional adoptions, including local event execution, adoption-related message and collateral development, competitive analysis and positioning, and set-up of curriculum review.


  • Lead part-time Sales Associate team in their support of the sales Account Executives.


  • Analyze each market to assess needs/gaps and develop materials to fill in the gaps and proactively support the sales force.


  • Stay abreast of regional nuances, requirements, and developments, including but not limited to adoptions, RFPs, and policy changes.


  • Build and foster a strong relationship with the sales team across the midwest; maintain frequent communication to determine needs and most appropriate use of resources.


  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing to customize national marketing materials, as well as provide ongoing input from the field.


  • Facilitate responses to district questions and rubric completion.


Basic Qualifications of the Director, Field Marketing:

  • Bachelor's degree


  • 5 years of professional experience in sales and marketing or related field


  • Experience at intermediate/advanced level MS Office, Adobe, Excel


  • Deep experience and success in managing complex projects-excellent project management skills are essential


  • Experience developing and executing campaigns that drive sales


  • Must live in the Midwest market: IL, MO, IA, MI, WI, MN, OH, IN


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the education market
