Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a creative and experienced event marketing coordinator to lead event planning, and execution for physical and virtual conferences, webinars, tradeshows, and private events.
Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you’ll execute on the yearly event strategy, and manage execution including budgets, planning, logistics, staffing, exhibit design, giveaways, and promotion. You will work closely with marketing, and sales teams to ensure that every event has high-quality branding, compelling messaging, extensive promotion, and consistent follow-up.
What you'll do:
· Execute on the decided event strategy, tactical plans, and project management from beginning to end
· Establish project plans and deliverable timelines for events. Ensure marketing, creative, and other company resource tasks and deadlines are met
· Research and book venues for private events
· Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors and 3rd-party contractors, and reconcile invoices and POs
· Lead on-site event execution including exhibit setup and breakdown, staffing, lead capture, and other logistics
· Source and manage 3rd-party vendors including exhibit design, A/V, catering, and shipping
· Evaluate event performance, including post event analysis, de-briefs and ROI reports
· Assist team with general marketing projects when needed
QualificationsIdeal Candidates:
· 3+ years of experience managing in person meetings, tradeshows, and events
· Experience planning and exhibiting at small and medium private as well as large industry events
· Excellent multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment
· Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
· Experience managing and meeting budgets
· Experience with event registration processes and management tools
· Experience leveraging social media and email to promote participation in events
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Word, as well as event software programs like Cvent and Eventbrite, and Survey Monkey
