West Monroe has an immediate opportunity for an experienced professional to join our corporate marketing team who can tell impactful stories on behalf of a growing company. This individual will produce content that resonates with recruits, clients, employees, and other stakeholders, and demonstrates West Monroe as a top place to work. He or she will also execute our firm’s robust awards program, from application to branding, which includes dozens of awards across multiple disciplines. This person will be a dedicated partner to various teams in the firm, with the goal of telling people-based stories that inspire and differentiate West Monroe.

Position Type & Location: Full-time role in a core West Monroe geography
Key Responsibilities
- Produces content across multiple platforms, including video, audio, articles, profiles, features, Q&As, photo essays, etc., to provide a rich experience for our audience (recruits, clients, employees, and other stakeholders)
- Shapes our content planning and content creation process for people-based stories with the goal of recruiting and retaining the best talent in the market
- Writes in the West Monroe style and tone of voice to support a distinct and competitive brand in the market
- Generates own story ideas in addition to accepting writing assignments for campaigns and key events/milestones
- Works with vendors and subcontractors to create the most compelling content
- Helps shape corporate marketing campaigns and the West Monroe brand by identifying themes and stories within the firm that support our corporate narrative
- Works with awards partners, media partners, and internal stakeholders to complete awards applications on time and maximize results for the firm
- Adheres to multiple and stacked deadlines for awards and content in progress
- Works closely with the larger marketing team and an internal communications team to conceptualize, plan, and execute
- Executes additional miscellaneous tasks associated with recruitment marketing
- Participates in company events and networks within the firm to identify people who can be featured in content
- Works with the social media team to develop and execute compelling content and campaigns that increase interest among our target audiences
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in a content creation and program management role, ideally in a professional services environment or agency
- Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of working effectively and forming peer-level relationships
- A background in journalism or other content creation field required
- A demonstrated ability to create content in different formats
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
- Published clips that demonstrate excellent writing and creative skills
- Ability to write in a specific tone of voice/style
- A background in recruitment marketing or people-based content (e.g., profiles) is preferred, but not required
- A willingness to work from an office 1-2 days per week, on average, while taking advantage of West Monroe’s flexible hybrid work policy
- Adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
- Strong skillset in organization and detail oriented
- Excellent internal and external communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
