The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the Listrak Marketing Cloud Platform. This position is the primary project owner and manager of the platform. Along with the management of the cloud platform, this position is responsible for the overall management of the email asset and best practices to drive business results, deliver deep insights and recommendations based on a strong understanding of the Listrak platform. This role will sit on the Communications team and will regularly interface with a large, cross-functional team of marketing technologists, engineers, solution architects, marketing strategists, and digital marketing specialists to help bring digital experiences to life.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as subject matter expert in Listrak Marketing Cloud (LMC), delivering advice, guidance, and support.
  • Work with Product Owners and IT developers to set up lists, integrations, and custom event triggers.
  • Edit HTML/CSS, run quality assurance on email coding language and write personalization queries for email and SMS messages.
  • Conceptualizes and articulates future state marketing automation models and roadmaps.
  • Lead the effort to automate existing manual emails and SMS.
  • Work in partnership with the IT team to ensure LMC has all the critical data and features it needs to support the desired customer journeys.
  • Assist with evaluating new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team such as CRM, cart and browse abandonment features, preference center, etc.
  • Work with Performance Marketing on metrics and segmentation features using Listrak CRM.
  • Operate in LMC daily to build new journeys, update existing journeys, or deploy journey communications via email and other online and offline channels.
  • Manage 200+ triggered/automated emails in multiple languages and markets.
  • Identify, test, and implement new strategies to improve click-through, open, and conversion rates.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with new SKU implementations that would influence triggered/automated emails.
  • Utilizing best practices in leveraging LMC to develop cross-channel customer & Ambassador journeys, set up rules based on creative messaging, develop and monitor testing scenarios, and regularly surface business analytics and insights to stakeholders regarding email/SMS campaigns. This includes implementing life-cycle strategies, marketing automation, user segmentation, and leveraging dynamic/triggered messaging to optimize campaign responsiveness.
  • Work in partnership with all department stakeholders for all campaigns: design, target criteria selection, list management, and campaign health monitoring.
  • Effectively communicate the status of campaigns and initiatives to executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure reporting automation and accuracy and timeliness of reports available from directly managed LMC.
  • Stay attuned to the challenging email marketing channel, and contribute new ideas towards growth and optimization, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 4 years of related experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field preferred
  • 7 years of related experience


Special Skills:

  • Listrak implementation and usage, HTML, CSS, Data Analysis, Email Design.
